Here is a recent purchase. We all know how rare Purpleheart Titlist cues are and I had a similar cue years ago and I regret letting it go. I ended up getting a GREAT deal on this one and I'm pretty sure it's going to be part of my permanent collection.

The only thing I think I might change is the wrap. I'm not a big linen fan and I think a nice matching lizard would look very cool on it.

Let me know what you think!

Very nice photos. The titlist (either 1 pc or the hoppe pro model and the Brunswick 26.5) to me is timeless in features. You look at cues made in the 50's and up to today, they incorporate (points/veneers) features of the old titlist. I'm sure glad that Brunswick manufactured them. You sure have a nice cue there. As to a wrap thats up to the owner, you'll do what is best in you eyes.

Dayam son! Nice cue!

Moving the points up makes it look more modern. I guess it has a handle added with an A joint and is no longer full splice?

A black leather wrap would look nice but the green spec is definitely classic. I think it comes down to personal preference.

Thanks for showing off!

Personal preference and all, but I wouldn't touch the wrap. It looks great as is.

Nice cue.

Beautiful conversion there! Simple elegance.
I actually think the linen wrap gives it the old Skool look.

Smart

Smart move on this cue I love it. About the wrap that is up to your taste, if it were mine I would go smooth dark brown leather.I have two Purple Hearts and when matching the the color to the Purple Heart I just felt the brown showed off the Purple Heart more.I don't think you can go wrong on this cue whatever you decide. If you make a change post new pic's .

Congrats. I really hope this goes in the permanent collection. It deserves it!
The wrap change isn't a bad idea nor is keeping this one on. I am not a fan of linen, but I just "stumbled onto" a great cue that has a linen wrap. I'm reluctant to change it.
p.s. Great image as always.

So I originally intended to keep this one but I think I may offer it up for sale. If anyone is interested, feel free to pm me an offer. I may consider trades for another cue or a nice 3x6 custom case.

Awesome looking cue. Not sure if just your skills at picture taking but it's beautiful. I personally do not like linen myself unless it has that nice dirty grip? but as a whole, i believe it's awesome as is.
