What phrases do we use as "pool people" that only WE understand?

Here are a few:

Get the cheese

Behind the 8 ball

I'm having trouble thinking of many more.........HELP!!!

"Stick" the rock or "stick" whitey.

Nine/ten "on the snap."

A "slug" rack.

"Ride" the nine/ten.

A game "on the wire."

"Frozen" balls.

1.) Talleywack.

Example:

Ray got his nuts shot off last night. Man, I'm not sure who that guy was but he was in dead fu*king talleywack.


2.) Double him up"

Example (in the honor of Danny D):

He's got a great shot here, just cross the nine to his side and double him up down talbe and he'll be sleeping in the street.

A player, b Player, Orange crush, 7 and out, you got the 6 ball, Snap, fifty a set, One pocket, jump the ball, break cue, 7 player, 10/7 One pocket, lag, flip the coin, shot his brains out, 2 balls better than him, kick the ball, lay into it, cut the ball, bank it, shaft, chalk it up, bridge, cue ball, cue stick, 3 rail kick, Your pocket over there, that's my pocket, I'm giving you the break and 10/5. I could go on and on, Big Truck. Good post.

Jersey Red used to say "Sweat Snow", when he wanted you to watch the path of the cue ball on a shot he was about to make.


Couple of others:

Fire an air barrel

Dog the cheese

Outrun the nuts.
