I play traditional style, so when i say pushout, I mean the first shot after the break. Thats it. I also play 3 fouls in a row = loss, but we will have to agree to that before hand.

Are you looking for some action?

Who says "3 fouls in a row". LOL And isnt pushout 9 ball just what we all play? I have never heard anyone explain pushout after the break. LOL
Hes just here to push buttons IMO. And yank some chains. LOL
Will admit. It is pretty funny.

I thought this guy was serious, but in reading his posts from last night...he is either trying to practice acting dumb to get action or maybe hes not really practicing...either way its sounding like BS now.

If you need help finding action in the MD/DC/VA area you probably need to keep playing your friends.

And no one calls it pushout its texas express.

No,pushout is the old way before texas express rules,he is saying he will play that way or texas express which is the norm these days,it doesnt seem that alot of people play rotation call shot/call safe anymore.

Im not sure but I have had an older player or 2 ask to play it gambling to take away some of the luck in the game of 9 ball.

Good morning good morning

I've never heard it called texas express. We call it pushout. Heres how it goes

player A = play some?
player B= sure, 9ball?
player A= do you play pushout?
player B= yes, i do
player A= rack'em

Nothing to involved here. Traditional Style 9 ball is what we call it. I live in Waldorf MD which is South of DC by 25 miles, in case you don't live in this area I could understand your confusion.

Texas Express is only being able to push out after the break,Push Out 9 ball is different which means if a guy hooks you by accident and didnt call safe while shooting a shot you can make him shoot again, any old schoolers can go more in depth about it.

Hi brian,

My friend. I don't want to keep playing my friends. They say I have a killer instinct when I play and thought I would really challege myself against strangers whose style I'm not used to. So, I'm looking for action against people I don't know.

Hope this clearifys things for you. Do you play in this area? I played in DC against a guy named Brian years ago by Howard university. Just curious.

...or a DCP wannabe.

I guess I'm not in the loop. What is DCP? I am not to be trifled with, sir. I stumbled across this site after watching TAR (the action report) and it was mentioned.

Mr. Wilson....is this you just having fun with us? :p

I might as well throw in my $.02, my name is Neil and I gamble only a little bit but on your way down to the champions stop by Jacksonville and I will play you a couple of sets. You can find me at Bankshots on Beach Blvd. almost every night, I am attached to the bottle of Bud Select near a pool table.

Top Hat in Parkville Maryland (just east of Towson) has a tournament every Sunday at 1:00. There are some guys there that play fairly well and love to gamble. Henry, Sean, those guys gamble with anyone. You can find a game easy. Mike Davis used to play there along with Ryan McCreesh, Jerry Slivka too.
