The player pics are up on the IPT website, but some are pretty bad. Danny Basavich, Paul Brienza (not too bad but could be better), Bernie, Colin's - they all were not caught at a good moment. I remember we stood in line for a long time, so by the time the cameraman got to us, we were pretty fried. Mine and Mike Zimmerman's are not good either. Maybe it's just us AZBers!
Of course, everyone is always critical of their own photos. In fact, I can't say anyone's is very flattering, except a few like Frank Alvarez, Karen Corr, the Buteras and Yannick Beaufils. Even Jackie Broadhurst who is really beautiful, just looks a little sleepy. This is just through the C's.
I haven't gone all the way down the list yet, but some of them are pretty humorous. A couple look like mug shots - Bustamante and Chenman. OK, the D's and E's are all exceptionaly beautiful; must have just been the B's and C's that were not so good.
Niels Feijen - not fair, he got to use a playing photo. The G's and H's are mostly good. What is up with Thorsten Hohmann's photo? It looks like it was photoshopped onto another head.
I, J, K, L, M are all ok, some were great. I think I have seen better pics of Keith and Grady from JAM. No problem with N-R, although I think Efren's and Rempe's pics could have been better too. Ike Runnels looks sad and one of the best things about him is his fantastic smile. Larry Schwartz makes up for it - this must have been taken right after he found out he would get to play in the KOH tourney! Earl Strickland has the deer in the headlights look and Stan Tournageau must not have been prepped for the shot - he has a wonderful smile too.
Actually, I have gone down the rest of the list and most of them are fantastic. Makes you think you are right there with them and some you just want to give them a hug right now. Maybe the ones I mentioned might have the opportunity to get retakes later.
