a discussion happens when someone brings up a pool related subject & people can post about their experience with or their opinions about the subject. (a great thing)
an argument happens when someone brings up a politically related topic that really has nothing to do with pool & just about everyone gets emotional and starts trying to push their agenda. (something that has no place in the main forum)

That would be the NPR forum, non pool related. Probably where this should go, I think.
Then go to a pool forum. We don't need to be discussing pool related issue here.:wink:
Argument is what happens when someone is having a Discussion and tries to drink the last beer.
I don't think there's an issue with space problems, this stuff is virtual.
So, by way of deductive reasoning, if SLIM's request is not fulfilled, could it be said that the AZBilliards forums are "virtually" full of crap?

Nothing wrong with arguing..each argument represents a 'point of view'
In a discussion everyone can benefit.
And 'passion' is much better than 'apathy'
However, 'meanness and 'stubbornness' may not be helpful
One who loses an argument gains the most.
