In theory all the billiard politics that have been discussed has been covered from the player perspective of choosing to play and risk the ban.
Very little billiard politics was discussed as to if the ban policy by the ACBS is open to re interpretation each year.
The politics of individual billiard federations has come up, but not to the same scrutiny over the decisions players make. Who in the ACBS thought the ban was a good idea and how did the other member federations resolve the issue? There was a push by BCA and other federations, but they had no cohesive news station pulling them together. In America I know Molina Mike and Doggin Podcast covered the events. However internationally I am unaware of podcasters broadcasting in local languages about such issues.
The general assembly of the federation voted. How many votes are needed for the next election to repeal the ban? Stop the bans is the next measure of political progress from the player stand point.
