Poll- Head or Foot?

What about those tables with legs but no feet? And, how can a table have no feet when it has at least 7'? If you break from the head, is that why so many guys like to break hard? Why isn't the mouth of the pocket only in the head area? Can you only "toe the line" at the foot end of the table? If you shoot into the mouth of the pocket at the foot end, do you get foot and mouth disease, or do you just have your foot in your mouth? Why do people stand at the head, shoot into the foot, while holding the butt in their hand?

Now which is the top and bottom of the cloth.....that's a question. :)
 
Back in the days when cloth had a nap, the cloth was installed with the nap running from head to foot and you only brushed them from head to foot. Never sideways or against the nap.

I always knew which way is up...some did not, as evidenced by the recent 'how would you shoot this shot?' thread. I'd provide a link, but I am on phone.

I still brush head-to-foot and freak out when anyone does it the wrong way.

I do think there's still a very tiny nap, though. Someone was talking to me at the poolroom the other day, and while he spoke, I very very gently grazed my finger tips along the top of the cloth, feeling for the nap. I thought i felt a difference in directions.

Ah you got me haha. The rack just wanted to"pose" there. I did give some thought as to which side to put that Diamond plate on. Or any table name plate. I did choose the head spot end. But I think my old Beach table was on the foot end. Hmmmm new debate? lol
