This is a poll to ascertain what the demographics of AzBilliards' readership is. We all have one thing in common, and that's our attraction to pool. :cool:

I did a poll like this in the past, but I'm curious as to where we stand today in 2011. :)

I actually had a tough time figuring out where I belong.

I don't get out enough to consider myself an "action player, gambler, or road warrior", but I just couldn't pull the trigger on the "social or recreational player" button; I just take the game too seriously for that. I'm definitely not an "Aspiring pro" since I have accepted my limitations, but I went ahead and pulled the lever for "Amateur or Aspiring Pro". I guess I'm an amateur player.
 
JAM...I didn't know how to vote. Where does 'professional instructor' or 'pool entertainer' fit into?

You might want to change the amateur/aspiring pro category. A bit confusing.

I chose league player AND railbird.
 
Jam, you left out ," two-bit pool hustler." A classification into which I proudly
fall.
 
I guess if you're a fish you would probably vote under the railbird section.
Although I think it deserves it's own category! :)
 
I don't know how to classify myself in this poll.

I know that I've won 3 out of the last 4 bar tournaments that I've played in, and that I love pool as much as anyone, but I am mostly a family man who doesn't expect to ever get rich playing pool.

The top amateurs and low level pros have a harder time making a living than many people who work at McDonald's.
 
cool thread, really didnt know all diffrent types of pool "fans" of some sort are even on here with players alike. :thumbup:
