Pool Hall Name - Need your help!

When I was going to open a pool hall, I was going to call mine "Sharp Shooters."

I thought it would attract both pool players and drinkers - which was my goal.

Jay Helfert and many others should remember the place in downtown San Jose, CA ...

If I were to open a Hall it would be Circus Billiards ...

Thought about one a few times

I thought about opening a place a few times. My choice of name was "Shaky Jake's Pool Hall". Figured I'd get enough action myself to cover the rent with that name. :smile:

Any name is a good name as long as your putting more cues in the hands of the presently non-playin' public and supporting those who have dedicated themselves to this wonderful "seach for higher truth on the green felt." :) Best of luck!

We used to have a place called "Mother's Billiards" To tell you the truth, there was something about that name that I thought was perfect, kind of humorous, kind of 'bad boy', but definitely memorable, and it was a great room too.

I could see it today in sort of a tattoo script, like the "Mother" on a big biker's arm.

MONEY PLAYS<-----name of a video poker bar in vegas, I havent been down that street in years, it might be gone. I have alot of good pool room names, most pool rooms have stupid names with the some little clever tricky use of some pool words in it like cue-topia, haha aint that cute, babys are cute business are to make $$$, so "money plays" is better. "Hard times" is good no goofy kiddy name there either.
 
I just had a great rib-eye and two cold beers and while I was chewing I thought Planet Pool would be kinda cool. I guess I will have some more beer it seems to help me think:smile:
 
When I bought my first room in 1993 I was going to name it ADC Billiards
Meaning Adult Day Care, but I decided not to.

INDOOR POOL was a thought to.

People always ask what the D&D stands for in my room name and its for my sons Danny & Dustin.

The newer meaning was Dumb & Dummer,
dumb for buying the first room and dummer for opening again after I lost my lease at the old spot 2 years ago.
