Predate southwest cue value

I have the opportunity to buy a two cue deal this afternoon and only want one cue. Since I'm not a collector I don't want to keep the Predate Southwest cue.

This cue has a birdseye Forearm with six Pau Ferro points (NO VENEERS) and Irish Linen wrap. The cue is suppose to be in excellent condition. Here are a couple of Cell phone pictures. I will put up better pictures if I buy the cues.

Whats the value of this cue in todays market? Anybody interested in buying this cue (assuming I buy it this afternoon)?

I dont place a whole lot of value on pre-date cues, some people do. I would guess that IF it is straight with two straight full shafts it would go between $2000-$2200. That might even be a little high in this market. IMO the no veneers and no extra rings keeps it from the from $2500-$2700 level you see many asking for. I have not seen too many actually sell for those numbers though unless it was something rare or out of the ordinary.

in this market, I'd say ~$2k.

someone just sold a predate WITH veneers and a leather wrap for $2240 shipped.

If you get it for anything under $1800, I'd call that a good deal.

I gave you my opinion in Lincoln City, Bob. It should go for around $2500. It was great to meet you. poolrod.

I'd agree with 1P. I picked up that other cue for $2240 and it has three points high, three points low, three veneers, leather wrap, rings in all positions, refinished, two full shafts with ivory ferrules. Letter of authenticity. Perfect condition.

Not sure if yours would go for $2000. Not in today's market.
