Who the heck is arguing cloth does not affect play ?
Humidity and heat affect how the cloth plays.
In one senior tournament, it was so hot and humid, Buddy Hall GAVE up the breaks b/c he couldn't make a ball on his break.
Simonis is more sensitive to humidity than Andy and Championship ( worsted kind) . Those too are even more slippery than Simonis.

I think you can all agree that both the blue label diamonds and the gold crown 6 are both very good tables. Most good players like to play on either table.
