The bottom line is that it doesnt matter if SA was out to harm PP's rep or not, the fact is that PP harmed his own rep with his attitude towards a customer, and the bad language he dared to use toward a customer. And i'm surprised that the moderators would let him continue to post after using bad language such as what he's used. And i would be surprised if he ever gets anymore "new" business from any one here. Except for his buddies who are praising him of course.

If the signature is between coats, you will lose it, if you go a hair too deep, you will lose it. It is also time consuming as the refinisher would have a better sanding job if done completely on the lathe, but he can't do this around the signature. Then, if the signature WAS saved, it MAY turn dark over time as the old finish and the new finish are not compatible. This is the way it was explained to me.
I have dealt with Aaron on numerous occasions and have good transactions every time.He has always done as promised with the trades or sales.I have also had a couple that were refinished by Aaron that were absolutely awesome looking.I agree that you would be hard pressed to find another cue refinisher to do the same things as spending alot of money out of pocket just to make the customer happy. In addition,40+ pm's is a heck of a lot of communications to have with someone on their project.I hate that these type of problems have to come onto a public forum but, everyone has an opinion just like everyone has an a-hole.Only some stink worse than others.ribdoner said:Aaron drove over 60 miles and spent in excess of $80 to get the Q to RUSS in order to get the Q signed as fast as possible. For reasons beyond his control it took apprx 2 wks longer than anticipated for the Q to get back to him. How many other Q builders/refinishers would do the same??? I commend Aaron for the effort he put into getting this Q back to the customer.
After the extraordinairy effort he put forth and out of pocket expense he incurred I can see why he had negative thoughts about the customer after the customer went public. Aaron made a MISTAKE by expressing those thoughts here. I'm sure he has learned from this.....
I will continue to send Aaron work and get more than I bargained for![]()
