My son, Chad Behnke, is a two time Iowa State Champion at the age of 13. He won the Level 2 Men's 8-ball two years ago which had approximately 350 entrants and this past weekend he won the Men's Open 9-ball division which had 356 entrants. The kid can play! Attached are some pictures of Chad and my other three sons Adam, Ryan and Levi. The four of them and myself played in the Master's Team event and finished in 5th-6th place. Adam and Ryan also played in the Elite/ProAm event and finished 9th-12th and 5th-6th respectively. I just had a great time playing with my boys and cannot wait until May when we'll be playing in the BCA Men's Master Team event in Las Vegas.

Congrats, Chad!! And you, Jerry... as the mom of a couple of players, I can imagine how proud you must be!

Did you teach your sons how to play? If so, you must be a very good teacher. Congrats to your sons' achievements.

That is truly wonderful. Good luck and more strong finishes in the future to you all.

Congratulations!

Jerry,

A big congratulations to all of the clan, sounds like everyone can play! A special congratulations to Chad, that is quite and accomplishment at any age, at thirteen it is amazing! I have Joe's DVD's and it is interesting to see how fast all of the boys are maturing both as fine young men and pool players.

Great to see you posting and hope to see more from you.

THIS is what pool is all about. Congratulations to you and all of your fine sons. Now, go get 'em in Vegas!

Roger

Congrats to the entire Behnke family. Everyone in this region is proud of your individual accomplishments and the wholesomeness your family represents.

It goes to show what hard work and dedication can get you. You all have spent a lot of time working on your game and knowledge. The addition of Little Joe's teachings is icing on the cake.

Congratulations Jerry, you all know how I feel about your family... I believe if every aspiring pool player out there approached the game with the same moral standards you're family sets, pool would be a much more popular sport today!

Thanks for everything.....Scott

somebody's gonna hafta come up with another "sleeve" nickname....

 congrats to the whole family, saw a few of you shoot in Galesburg (IL) in a tourney. Looks like they've all grown up since then, and I'm sure their games are scarier than ever too.

Congrats! Your family represents the state of Iowa very well and I wish you and the kids the best of luck in Vegas.

Congrats, a family that plays together is a family that everyone can respect. I'll see ya'll in vegas and be cheering ya'll on...

Jerry,
I had the pleasure of finally meeting Adam when I was out in Reno with TAR. All I can say is he's a hell of a kid, very polite and a great example of some of the young talent in billiards that is mainly due to a great family life and good upbringing. Hopefully i'll get to meet the rest of the clan someday. Thanks for the post buddy.
