Question about Cue appraisals

I do not know if this is the right place for this thread but I am looking for someone to appraise my cues for my homeowners insurance. They are looking for insured value to keep on file with my policy I have talked to all my local appraisers and they are not that knowledagable about cues so I thought I would ask for suggestions. Who ever made your cues would be the one to apraise them and set a replacement value. I'm pretty sure this is the only acceptable way to cover there loss

I underswtand that but some of the cuemakers are retired so I can not get in touch with them and I am looking for insured value.

Use the bluebook as a guide. I did and mine are insured.

The bluebook over estimates most of the cues and so it will give a good insurance value.

When I had mine appraised, for insurance purposes, Bill Stroud did it (even for the Gina and Balabushka, along with my JossWest). I've heard Bill Schick is also a good person for cue appraisals.

for all insurance, homeowners anyway you only will need a retail replacement value. which you can get from your cue makers website of similar cues. or use a good faith estimate. for a custom cue that isnt part of a line.

You might also try contacting Bill at Cornerstone. He may be able to provide an appraisal.

we do appraisles, but some insurance claims ask for a lic. appraiser and the acadamy works with judy godfrey judygodfrey@suddenlink.net and we work right along side her to help in pricing
