This might be the toughest message I have had to write to the billiard world. My very good friend Greg Ferguson owner of the Obelisk billiard club in Newport News va was killed yesterday in a motorcycle accident. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Shanna and his daughter and family and all of his friends.Greg was absolutely the kindest and most outgoing billiard room owner I have ever known.May God bless all.

Sincerly,

Bobby Chamberlain

Terrible news, Bobby. So sorry to hear. My condolences to Greg's family and friends, and to you and yours as well.

Very, very sorry to hear this.

Indeed, very sad news. He had big plans. Hopefully some friends and family will continue what he had lined up for the future. I know he kept my attitude positive when I was having the worst days. He will be remembered, that's for sure.

This is very sad news. When did this happen yesterday? I was at Obelisk last night for a couple of hours, I thought it was odd that he wasn't there.

Thank you empty pockets. I was just reading about it on the Daily Press website. It's a shame that something like this happened.

A great ambassador to the sport. My condolences.

My heart goes out to Greg's wife and children. Great guy, a true ambassador to the game pool. Although short, it has been a pleasure to have known you. You will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and pool (family) friends. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one.

Terrible news! Greg was always doing great things for pool in the VA area. I taught several lessons at the Obelisk, and was always treated with the utmost respect. My condolences to the family and friends. RIP Greg! :(
