My rating would be good.
Nice smooth stroke
Good soft touch
Ran a rack in rotation
A little sloppy with the cue ball couple times but that happens
Overall good.

Looking good. Running all 15 in order is never easy.

If you're really looking for opinions (never really know around here) I would suggest you slow your cue down a bit on your warmup strokes. I bet you thought your warmup strokes where slower than they actually are.

Yep, I agree and also a pretty good shot maker. Shooting balls on the rail, and shooting the cb off the rail, but the balls were still dropping like flies, was not like you "crapped" a couple in or anything. Very good shooting.

Nice shooting! Nice stroke and ball pocketing. Very easy to watch, thanks for the video.

Your stance is a little unorthodox but it seems to work for you.. You have a good stroke, follow through & seem to stay down well. You lost the cue ball a few times which wasn't about taking the wrong line but more about ball speed. Develop a consistent PSR would be my major suggestion to you. It seemed the few times you lost the rock you had changed your pace compared with other shots.

My only critique would be the chicken wing. Your torso is very flat and its kind of impossible then to have the elbow, grip and shoulder all above the cue. Correcting it would be a massive change for a small improvement in consistency so its whether you want to go through weeks or even months of playing under par to correct it.

What I did like was you stayed down long enough to evaluate your shot after you hit the cue ball. When I first saw your warm up strokes I thought you were going to suck because they were so random and fast but they slowed down when it counted. You had a nice touch and generally good control over the cue ball. Playing tight off the rail at pocket speed stumps a lot of players but you took it in your stride.

Overall I saw way more things I liked with your play than things id like to change, so well played.

first off, congrats on putting yourself out there like that to be critiqued, that is never easy.

next, I would have to agree with everyone else on what they said about ball speed and shot making. My observation however was that I don't quite believe that staying down that long on shots is something that you normally do, psychology would dictate that this is less likely given your warm up strokes, plus i noticed that it changed slightly throughout the run. It's kind of that whole "i'm under the lights situation that we often do, some of us when having someone worthy watching out game", we focus more and the things that we know that we should be focusing more on but this level us when adrenaline kicks in or as the run continues like I feel happen with you at times, Straight pool player experience this more than most I feel.

But, it looks like you have been working on it and adapted to it well to where you have good enough control, I would like to see you run a rack of 9 or 10 to see how your brain and stroke manages that type of pattern play.

Once again very good, keep up the good work and I think you'll be up a ball or two before the year ends.

p.s.
the rapid warm up stroke could be the cause for loss of ball control at times

The OBs really seem to like you. Bounced your CB back on path a couple of times and sat almost Kosmo style.

Arm under belly style is gonna restrict advancement.

Seems you have a good eye. Keep at it, but gotta free up the cue arm to move to higher levels. Might seem harsh, but that's how I see it and maybe that can help you expand your talents.

Cheers,
Colin

I don't normally do this Nathan but here you go.

You stay down on the shot as well as anyone I have ever seen. Jimmy Reid would be proud of you.

You pocket balls very nicely, with good pocket speed.

You stay still not just after the shot but during the shot.

Good rhythm, no rushing from shot to shot.

However, your shape making needs improvement. Can't be bumping into object balls by accident. (maybe those odd bumps were by design, if so, my bad).

It appears that you have what some call a chicken wing stroking arm, where your hand and forearm are not underneath your elbow. You also drop your elbow on many shots. This may be because your stroking hand is gripping the cue 2-4 inches forward of where it should be. (Traditional forearm position is perpendicular to the floor at cue ball address). Your hand "looks" like it MIGHT be a little too forward and you most likely have to drop your elbow in order to follow through the cue ball.

That's about it. All said and done, not too shabby at all. Keep up the good work. (Now if I could only emulate you staying down after the shot).
