That's exactly right.
And because you always have to compensate anyway why not get used to a good feeling solid maple
shaft where at least nothing is muted.
No one argues that the feel is always superior in a solid maple shaft vs the LD shafts.
Matter of fact that seems to be one of the selling point for many.
"Feels (or almost feels) like solid maple" are words I see thrown out there a lot when people are priding
them selves of how awesome their latest LD shaft is.
No matter how much some pool players think we can defeat physics, we simply can't.
Deflect more or less doesn't matter.
What matters is that people learn to compensate for this and before you know it'll be so automatic you
won't even think about it.
