***Reyes vs Shuff in fatboy 10-ball finals at 1pm est.

Brandon breaks dry. Efren makes nice shots on the 1 and the 2 but he is looking tired. Scratch! Brandon with ball in hand.

Wow! What an out. Brandon played perfectly up until he almost drew the rock eight feet back up the rail and into the pocket. Then he fires in a cross side bank and drops the 10 to get to 14-8! Getting interesting!

I love it... almost like being there. Thanks again for the play by play Mike. You shoot in the Thursday tournament at First Break still?

Brandon makes two balls on the break, then leaves himself tough. Takes a flyer and ends up leaving the one ball safe. Efren plays a nice safe back. Brandon has trouble.

Got to hand it to Brandon for stepping into the sandbox and playing with Heart. That was a nice comeback. Maybe he will get Erfen in that 1-hole match they've been talking about.

thanks again for the updates Mike.

Brandon made a nice comeback. I wish he could have found his stroke a little earlier. Efren played his best pool early on and got all the early rolls too. Brandon struggled with the speed of the table all the way til the end. I think if they were racing to twenty Brandon would have gotten there. Great experience for B. Having this match under his belt will really help him down the road.

Great match and it was fun being match reporter for the first time.

Yeah, about 5 games after Efrem.

Efren would be a great match-up against Ceasar Morales.

Unfortunately, the Efren of today can get the wild 8 plus 2 games playing 10 ball from Cesar Morales back in the 80's

By the way congratulations to the old guy. He still has it!

Thank you for the play by play!

Efren must be sitting pretty for THE ALL-AROUND.so far.................
He sure would be, if this fatboy challenge had anything to do with the Master of the Table award, which I highly doubt.

Nevertheless, even though he bowed out early in the one-pocket event, he still has a good chance if he does well in 9-ball. Though, Brumback (currently leading in points), Pagulayan, Bustamante, Daulton, and Martinez are also well in the running.
