cuesblues said:This was great information. I am in contact with the Masontown, PA police department Officer Mike Yeager. I just sent this information along with receipts, delivery confirmation, and pics of the cue. I have also agreed to ride out to Pennsylvania just to testify if he gets arrested. I doubt I will get the cue back, but he will do some time for a felony theft, and I will see to it no matter how much it costs. I like Pennsylvania and West Virginia anyway and would like to take a road trip. Apparently Masontown is surrounded by West Virginia.
I will ask Officer Yeager to contact the Pittsburgh PD if that is where he lives. The Masontown PD is also going to go the the postal service and get them involved. He actually brought up the USPS before I did. I guess the cops aren't so bad when you need them. He seemed very interested in this case, but he doesn't know Brian. Brian is probably from Pittsburgh which explains some things.
The information provided by the AZB community has helped, especially when you are trying to get whatever info you can to the police. Thank you very much. I don't want to annoy anyone, but I am going to continue to post on this thread until I get some kind of resolution to this issue. I've contacted the mods to see if it is in the proper section, but other similar threads have been started in the WFS area and since he has for sale threads going, it makes sense to keep it here. If I move it to the main forum, some unsuspecting or new members may get stuck like I did.

It seems like it was an easy thing to do, but it wasn't. If not for the brilliant members of this forum, I would still be out the cue, and I can't thank everybody enough. The Masontown PD did make contact, but the cue was already on the way back by that time, thanks to you guys & gals.
The only thing I have heard from Brian Kozy through all of this, which has been a 2-month ordeal, is that he wants the pics of his family off the INTERNET. From what I can see, the pics have already been removed. As far as the links to My Space, it is up to the people that posted them, I can't edit someone else's post, and I'm not going to ask at this point.
These deal gone bad threads almost always seem to end up the same way. A cue is sent out, the owner exhausts all means short of legal action to get it back, a thread is started, and one way or the other public pressure forces the return of the cue. If you haven't been through it, it's very stressful because nobody likes to go public and admit that they were stupid and got ripped off. This was a classic one, and I feel a debt of gratitude to the AZ Community, and the Masontown police were right on too.
