Off topic but I couldn't help myself. I read something here that reminded me of blog that I recently read. My grammar seems to be acceptable but my punctuation is atrocious. I read a "language rules" blog that's done in a comedic manner because sometimes I learn things and sometimes I can laugh at my own stupidity. Anyway, here's the blog entry from their archives that I read the other day.
“Moot point,” not “mute point”
I haven’t heard this myself, but my friend Celeste has and it’s so hilarious it deserves a blog entry.
Apparently Celeste has heard people say, “It’s a mute point.”
That’s “mute” pronounced “mee-yoot” as in remaining silent.
The correct term is “moot point” and the correct first word, its spelling, and pronunciation is “moot.” Like adding T to the end of what a cow would say.
And what is meant by “moot point”? A moot point is one that need not be decided, due to a change of circumstances. Very interesting, because the word “moot” by itself means “debatable, or subject to discussion,” the opposite of its use in the legal context. The shift in usage is slowly happening, starting here in the United States.
But what’s this about a “mute point”? As Celeste reports to me, some people say this thinking it means, “Let’s put the mute button on and cease any discussion on this.”
Wouldn’t it be funny if the term evolves this way to become correct? After all, with the ubiquity of remote controls and mute buttons, a “mute point” may make more sense than a “moot point” to someone who’s not a lawyer.
For today, however, it’s wrong. Say “moot point” and try not to stick a “y” sound in there.
I think people just say mute when they mean moot and don't know the difference. And now people are trying to justify the use of mute as if it means the point is silenced.
Saw we don't know each other at all, but I can put the word in and see what Keith says. I'll give him a call right now if you want me to. Keith's mad at his money right now too. I'd love to see that on TAR also, hell I might even throw in some cash to make it happen. Damnit I'm calling him right now. Chewy prolly would play CB too but the weight has to be heavier than a fat baby I guarantee that.
Just got off the phone, y'all have Keith's phone number. Chris and Keith have talked a couple times. I know he's got some cash behind him. I guess if y'all can agree on something that makes sense for both parties y'all will have a match. As I understand it Keith has beat Chris and Chris has beat Keith. I won't get into the dollar amounts, but it's still not even. Definitely has the makings of a big time TAR battle though. A lot of people don't know much about Keith's game so a stream match might scare some people. Good luck setting something up because I really do think that would be one hell of a battle.
update; we are playing donny! These dates are tenative but it looks like we will get in on may 20th! Me and donny will work out the kinks over the weekend!but it looks like the 21st and 22nd at capones! Plus me and stevie moore talked about a big set and we will be playing stevie in the near future giving up the 9 in turn in 10 ball! He did call me and we agreed to discuss the details in vegas! And we have an agreement to play appleton a big set (probably at the open) now keep in mind that may change after hatch outcome! (go darren!!!) BUT THIS I DO KNOW, WE GOT ACTIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE I CAN HAVE MY IMAGE ADDED TO THAT TAR BEACH SCENE! BUT I WANT TO BE ON THE END GIVING CHRIS BARTRAM A BIG FAT KISS AND TELLIN HIM "THANX CHRIS,I OWE THIS ALL TO YOU,NOW WHY DONT YOU YOU AND THE BOYS GO ROUND UP SOME MONEY AND ILL GIVE YOU THE NUTS AGAIN"!

Yeah, you were just the unlucky one that happened to be sitting there having to fade that. I really don't think it would have mattered who would have been in your place, he was even money to win that weekend. Sometimes a man just hits a gear.
I agree that he played as well as anyone for those three days, but I believe his gear is extremely high as it is. Let me know if you like Rodney in this game ... it would be nice to finally get money from the Vette/Ktown consortium.
