I don't know Russian Ken, but I do know that if anything happens to him, the owner of this forum could be subpoened to provide IP addresses and names to legal authorities.

Most who seek justice don't publish their intentions on how they're going to go about it when it comes to murder, killing, physical violence, and bodily harm. In fact, it's the silent ones you need to worry about.

It's kind of interesting how you put words in my mouth. Did I ever say he's a good guy at heart? No.

Do I know him? No.

Do I think stealing is wrong? Hell, yes.

Would I be upset about getting ripped off for 7K? Damn right.

Does stealing $7,000 constitute someone getting murdered, beaten up, killed, or subjected to physical bodily harm? Not where I come from.

There are other ways to handle it. That is all I am saying. Publishing how big and bad members are on this forum, how bad they can beat this Russian Ken dude up and how they can make him disappear is juvenile and assine. Sadly, though, these threats could come back to bite this forum in the ass.

And for the record, I'd never lend one penny to anyone in a pool room or a casino unless they were a very, very close friend of mine and I knew all of their contact info. As a rule, I don't lend any money to gambling addicts.

That seems like the logical choice.

I can't fathom how a guy can be considered "great action" when he's constantly in debt and takes forever to pay, or might not even pay at all.

Agree with this post. However there is one thing that Azbilliards can do: How about NOT giving this Kenny guy an award and sing his praises at every opportunity? If that is too much to ask, at least one poster can take it upon himself to mention the incident every time people mention his "accomplishments"..

Unrepentent rip off artists like this presents you with an ethical dilemma. He seems a particularly bad sort, physically threatening a 16 year old. If you beat him up or kill him you lose, and have to go to jail, it's not worth it. Instead avoid him and spread the word. How many pool backers can there possibly be to choose from? Sooner or later he will run out of gullible people to back him in pool and what then? Maybe he'll switch sports and give pool a chance to be better because of it.

The kid won $2,000 and got barreled on $7,000, right? One, the kid GAMBLED on getting paid by letting it ride on the wire. Two, he won $2,000 cash and he lost his bet on the $7,000, it wasn't stolen from him. Three, he actually WON money and didn't lose. Four, if you actually ended up on your money and had no chance of losing, you can't ***** about getting barreled on the rest of it......

What a disgusting thread. Threats of killing and violence. People claim the pro players put a bad slant on American pool. I'm not so sure it's the pros. If this is an example of the American pool culture, God help us all.

I'll share a little story with you. When Keith was a teenager, just starting to come into his stroke, he got into a ring game with the big boys at Bob's Billiards in California. They played all night long and a day until Keith busted all of them. Game over.

Well, at the time, Keith's home life had deteriorated, and Keith was literally living in the pool room. The owners would lock the pool room up at night for Keith's safety and allowed him to sleep there. :sorry:

Being that he had no home to return to, when the game ended, Keith fell fast asleep on a bench inside the pool room. Two scoundrels came over to Keith's body while he was fast sleep and actually cut the pockets out of his pants and stole all of Keith's winnings.

When Keith woke up, he was heartbroken. It was a large score for the teenager, and he felt violated. As the day progressed, the pool grapevine began to work, and Keith found out the names of the two people who literally stole his money.

Let me just say that neither one of the scoundrels were beaten up, killed, or murdered, but what actually happened to those two thieves is a story to learned at a future time. Suffice it to say, justice was served with non-violence. :wink:

Saw, from my understanding the kid won 7k, but Kenny only gave him 2k. At that point Kenny asked for the 2k back to put back into action. The reason I say "stole" the money is because once the kid won, the 7k was his. By Kenny not giving him the full amount, he is now stealing what is the kids. JMHO

So did he give the 2k back? It doesn't matter if it's a 16 year old kid or an 80 year old man, if you don't make someone post, you assume the risk of not getting paid.
