Yes, this seems to be the trend. The last Pro tournament I played in was in Las Vegas and I played Shane the third round and they didn't announce any of the matches, no towels, no water, no powder, and I was pleasantly surprised they had chalk without sand mixed in it.

The prize money was about a third of what I expected, which was tolerable, however, the lack of respect for the players wasn't {tolerable}.
"Action speaks louder than words".....the Pros need a new avenue to showcase their skills, regular tournaments will keep getting worse because that's where the momentum is directed, it's no one's fault at this point - the Game's under the equivalent of a "negative gravitational pull".
Everything in life is about momentum, and once health, business, or trends start moving in a negative direction, they rarely turn around, without something drastic happening. There must be a "cleansing," or a "rebirth".
