Scooter Goodman - 2014 DCC

lol, just had to be preserved.

By the way, I'm the reason for the reference to the DUI earlier. It's been discussed on here before that I've had a DUI. Doesn't compare to stealing money out of a carwash from someone.

Oh, and just to expand, this is not a one time deal and I'm still not sure why you do it EVERY SINGLE TIME, but you come to the defense of every shady pool player in every instance. You defended Tony Chohan for selling 61 pounds of pot, you defended Ron Wiseman for dumping, you've defended Cliff Joyner multiple times when he is a known dump artist and never pays anyone back, you've defended Kevin Trudea a countless number of times when he stole money from the elderly, etc....to fund those events, etc...etc...etc...And now you defend Scooter for stealing money from a carwash, lol.

Can anyone please back me up on this and call a spade a spade? You have officially gone off the reality rails with your lollerskates.

I haven't defended Scooter for anything, Tommy. Rather, I felt discussing it on this open forum was in poor taste, especially when none of us know all the facts. That's how I view legal matters.

As far as the DWI, I had forgotten you had encountered one. Hopefully, you won't do it again. :)

You seem to take pleasure in bringing up the same topics as it pertains to me. I could go back and pull up all your other forum posts under other forum names -- six in total, by my last count -- but for what purpose? I know what you're all about. Threads like this one are what brings you joy on AzBilliards.

what facts are you talking about? The fact he was caught stealing quarters from a carwash? That's a fact, pure and simple.

And I still don't know what the hell you are talking about with the whole multiple identity thing. I had another screen name back in 2005 that got banned for 2 months or so for an altercation with John Schmidt. I re-joined under corvette and have been a member here for 8 years. Almost everyone one here knows my name and I have met the majority in person, so save that tired shit once and for all. And to expand further, JS and I have since hashed all of that stuff out and are now friendly.

Look, I don't care anymore about your other forum identities. I can easily pull them up and list them for you, without a problem, but I don't care to exert my effort in doing so at this time. Bigger fish to fry, as they say. :)

When it comes to legal matters, especially in this day and age of the Internet, it is not a good thing to discuss on an open forum. This doesn't have anything to do with what's right and what's wrong as far as being a thief or stealing, however. When a recent thread about a player erupted on this forum about another legal matter that was pending court, the thread was pulled. That player and his family had more clout, I guess, than Scooter, et al., on AzBilliards.

Personally I think the topic of where people get their money or do their crimes would be in a different thread.

This particular thread should be discussing what flew around facebook after it happened last night. These guys played a race to 3 on a damn bar box for 40,000 with Scooter giving the breaks and the 6 out. The final rack Scooter hooked himself on the four, tied up the 4 and 5, and then his opponent caromed the 6 in for the cash which was described as pretty crazy from what I read.

This boggles my mind this type of action would happen on a bar table. Regardless of where the money from one side came from it was alot and it damn well had to sting his group for this weekend.

PS--once a thief always a thief. The saying of I would rather hire someone convicted of murder vs hiring a convicted thief holds true.

Yea until they murder YOU!

All iam saying about Scooterscase is, if so many people have so much to say about HIM here and else where, SAY IT TO HIS FACE, LIKE REAL MEN DO!

Nobody's gonna drive 7 hours to express a damn opinion about a subject they barely care about

If AZ comments somehow gets back to Scooter and offend him,
then I guess he'll have to deal with the hurt feelings.
Jail isn't the ONLY consequence of making dumb criminal decisions.
You lose respect from people too.

That might go on for a long time after the jail sentence ends.
It might stop if Scooter did something worthy of respect but so far it doesn't sound like he is.
If anything it sounds like he's still making dumb decisions.

Besides, what do you think is so wonderful about saying things face-to-face?
What... if someone called him "The Coin Bandit" he might punch them in the face?
Would you consider that REAL MANLY or would that just be another dumb decision?
Think that would change anyone's opinion of him, or just make it worse?

Of course you are correct.

I have personally seen Scooter and one other stooge, AT THE DERBY CITY CLASSIC, wait until someone wonders in the action room, bets on the match and either dumps or magically win and cut up the guy taking the side action.

Apparently to some this is gambling, worthy of the Louis Roberts Award.

To me it is not.

As far as the $40K, it might be the same thing. Robbing the rail.

I can guarantee one thing and almost another.

1 guarantee: Scooter could not have gotten $40,000 bet on the rail against himself
2 almost guaranteed: The $40,000 was posted, the other guy got paid, the other guy was not involved in any dump.

It is one thing to accuse Scooter of dumping, but in doing so you immediately accuse his opponent of this as well. In this instance, everyone was firing at the biggest whale in the room. You could win a nice annual salary in one night.

All I am saying is I have seen him do it before.....for that reason alone, I would not take either side of it.

I am not accusing the other player of anything, and maybe everything was on the square, but after seeing it a few years ago with my own eyes, I knew that I would not bet on either side if Scooter was involved.

But he is a Louis Roberts Award Winner....so he does have that going for him (in my Bill Murray voice)

Winning the Louie Roberts pretty much means the winner is not an angel. :-)

In the context of Action and Entertainment Scooter definitely deserves the award he got.

Keep this in mind...

There are a lot more "thieves" in coats and ties on Wall Street than we will ever see in the gambling world.

Sometimes we ALL make bad decisions we have to live with. But our lives are not judged on one mistake or bad decision.

Rolling my eyes at my brother.

In DCC speak this is what one thin dime looks like.

Now imagine 40 of them.
