Sometimes in one pocket you have no choice when you are backed up and stacked up but just to blast the hell out of them and see what happens. Sometimes rearranging the furniture ends up looking really good. :wink:

P.S. Dick had no problem admitting his defeats/losses and is not a typical braggart pool player talking about his beat list and wins. Ed Kelly in Las Vegas can tell you how Dick played or maybe Bill Stroud or maybe Alf Taylor.

Why does there need to be a shot?

The diagram and text tell the whole story: SJD put Eddie in jail and, "...Kelly approached the table to face this one-pocket nightmare." IOW, there wasn't only *a* shot, SJD had developed an overwhelming position and Eddie was forced to go for the shee-at out with a fram shot.

And since you missed that, I'll also point out that it was hill-hill to get into the JC final four. Eddie doesn't luck out... SJD is in the semi-finals.

oh, and BTW: the caption under the accompanying photo of SJD says "One Pocket Great San Jose Dick Morran..."

Listen, about 5 or 6 years ago, I beat Wade Crane a race to 4 playing one pocket at the 'Carolina Open' at 'Fast Eddies' in Goldsboro, NC. But, do I really think I could win always, NO!

And frankly, if he's having trouble recalling what happened "two years ago" it really calls into question some of his other observations about players and their games further back in the past.

There's one guy in here that has any like for you and that's RJ and I've never had an issue with him. Unfortunately nobody plays 3 cushion anymore or I'm sure he would beat you at that also. The problem is what he told you and what you related here -- it is completely and totally false.

Let me repeat it for you one more time: I have never played Danny DeLiberto. Not two years ago, not ever. And as I said, this calls into question anything he's told you and just about everything you say anyone else has ever told you and you have repeated here.

You are done here as far as being credible.
