Hold up guys.... I have just been on since monday and have not seen any of this. Let me 1st say that the cue was DEF. packed very very bad! I have my shipping guy at work pack it and then he gave it to me and said it was good to go! I didnt check, it was allready taped up. The pics make me sick!!!! The case was NEW NEW NEW when it was packaged, and those rub marks ARE from the lack of packing! I cant tell you how sorry i am about the packing Brian!!!! I take full resp. for it since i should have packed it myself. Take this to pm please, we can come tto something. I just sent you a couple of PM's before i got to the thread. I dont get on here for a while sometimes, sorry im working like a donkey!!! Ive never ever had a bad transaction on this board or others i go on!

that's the right attitude cueman ... hope everyone will be happy at the end of the day ... and that guy who packed the cue/case should get some training in what to and what not to do when sending a cue

No sir, its the only attitude to have. If somethings wrong then the seller needs to make it right! Everytime period! To clear a few things up....I can not even tell you how sorry i am about the packing!!!! But to let everyone know the tube was sent out with a sealed white cap on each end! I seen them with my eyes. And the shafts, i have no way to meassure them, was going off feel and im sorry. Just cant do that when someone is paying you money for something, it has to be correct! I just didnt make a good enough inspection in the cue before posting it. Ive been working 12-13hrs a day and have a new born at home, i just blew this sale all to He** and back and im sorry. No excuss, just sorry. We'll have this right Brain, by the end of the day!

There have not been that many bad deals, you just hear about them.

most importantly - don't let anyone else pack your cues/cases/whatever - do it yourself.....its just not worth it in the end IMO.

Unless you are using UPS to ship the cue.
They won't tell you, but most insurance claims filed will be denied unless the packaging appears to be new, and the item was packaged by them.
I learned this the hard way.
Anyone know the Insurance policy for USPS?

It's true about UPS with the added statement that it could be packed by a shipping company authorized to ship UPS as well. I had the same issue. However the shipping company made good for me and got their money from UPS somehow.

USPS is a little more lenient - you do not need their packing, but it helps if a triangle container is used. Those tubes just don't survive sometimes. They would need the shipping materials and container used shipped to their claims office for inspection and I would recommend you spend time at your local branch with the manager/supervisor and show them the damage. If you want to get it repaired, you have to submit a claim within 30 days or something like that where you would need an estimate from the person doing the repair in with the paperwork. If the whole cue is DOA, you would have to send the cue in as well, and you will not get it back if they make good the claim. It is theirs at that point. I would double check w/the post office because some of this is time sensitive.

I hope this helps.

First off let me say it is good to see that a deal gone arry has been worked out. Now as far as UPS, I would use them to ship a terd and that is about it. They suck. I work for a freight company and their on-time percentages are not very good. Also, they dont do things the way they are supposed to very often. I have had cues delivered to my house insured for 3000-4000 and they have been just left on my front porch without even knocking, ringing a doorbell or even put out of the elements. They just flat out suck. Period. I have had 100% relaibilty with USPS. It may take longer for a claim, but they take care of the customers better.

Hey Scooby23 I don't know what your first 2 post were on AZ but your 3rd one sucks! Maybe you should not open your mouth since you are new here. Cueman made a mistake by having someone else ship his cue and case but he stood up right away and made good on the deal.

You on the other hand have no right on telling someone not to do business on here when you have done none. I would buy from Cueman anytime! The way he responded and made good on the deal right away when something went wrong shows how much of a good guy he is. By your remarks shows how much of a dumba$$ you are.

Just my opinion of course and I don't usually share it, but when you attack a good guy like Cueman on making good on a deal when you have done none just doesn't fly with me.

FYI - Chris and I have came to a very quick and mutual agreement yesterday and this should be resolved/a done deal very soon.

I would buy from Chris again and I am sure that we both learned something from this situation...glad to hear that he bought some calipers!!!

does anyone know how to get into contact with Chris? or know him and can pass the message for him to get into contact with me...

I have sent several pms and emails to him over the past three weeks - waiting for him to follow thru on our agreement/resolution to this deal we made 6 weeks ago.....I was to have rec'd something in the mail about 3 weeks ago and have not heard from him since.

thank you for any assistance in advance....
