Every day it seems like the wanted/for sale forum is inundated with your for sale ads.

Right now you have eight different threads on page 1.

The method you are using is unfair to others here, imo, as you bump your multiple threads, their items get pushed off into oblivion.

Can't you consolidate all of your cues into a single thread and do the same with your cases?

Obviously, this is much more than a hobby for you, it appears to be at least your part-time job.

since you are using AZ as a steady stream of income, maybe you can also consider showing your appreciation by ponying up the approx $30 to become a gold member.

but most importantly, please stop clogging up the forum.

thx.

best,
brian kc

I agree with you KC on what your saying, but I wouldn't single him out
because every few days there's a handful of other members that post
the single format way on about 4to5 different cues. Once there's
enough people that do this, it becomes excepted practice.
I think singling someone out could look bias, not saying it is
but can look that way.

6 seperate threads for 3 Ben Greene players and 3 Ben Greene break cues does seem a tad excessive lol

wasn't he the father on Bonanza?

didn't know he also made cues...

all kidding aside, this is abusive and unfair to all the other members trying to buy and sell here.

Change the rules.
Enforce the rules.
Make dealers pay for dealer accounts.

Problem solved.

I just bought out a vintage chalk collection and am gonna list them here, piece by piece, thread by thread.....lol.

These guys are all TAKE and no GIVE when it comes to their activities on this site....and there have been a ton of them come on the scene here in the last year. I'm not surprised.

What I find amusing is this:

They are offended when you call them flippers.
They want to be known as dealers, but never claim to be one, because they are just a flipper.
They give everyone lowball offers, publicly, and then try to back up their offer by saying your item isn't worth crap.
Then the next week, they have it for sale at 3-6 times the price they paid for it.

My favorite flipper on AzB, is one guy who used to post threads asking questions about cues. Then he started selling cues in the $100-200 range. Weeks went by and he had traded up to $300-400 cues. Now he posts up his $1000+ "test hit only" cues that were his personal player (even though it was test hit) and they all hit lights out. He even offered to buy a cue from me and 1/3 the asking price, because it was going to be his new personal player.

happy to report that I have been contacted by seaglass who has asked for my advice and I believe he will now stop bumping his current threads and after 48 hours will consolidate them in order to be fair to everyone.

And he indicated that he was having a problem getting a gold membership with his credit cards - Does anyone know if there is a direct paypal link for gold membership that he can use?

thanks for your good intentions, seaglass.

Maybe others will follow.

If you have a bunch of cues, get yourself a website. You can still post a few cues on here, and you can point people to your website.

add his buddy Erajcustom89 to the list too.

Dude, you have a serious problem. I'm from Jamaica West indies beside having my lovely wife' I'm a loner and I do not have no buddies so go get ahold of yourself if you're lonely and looking for attention go to the adult toy store and buy yourself a dildo. I've had enough of you now I've been watching you try to tarnish my name all this time and I have not gave you the minute of the day. I have been real tough skinned when it comes to you, now I'm overwhelmed with you. I don't know you and I have done nothing to you so avoid me once again or if you have a problem with me let's settle this like grown people we can meet outside of the forums in person.
I don't know Seaglass505 never seen or heard of the guy so pls don't tag me..
My itraders speaks for me, that's what I'm about to get deals going.

# I would like to apologize to the Az community for flipping out like this, its not really who I am but a beautiful person and can be forced to do ugly things at times like what Prewarhater just forced me to do..

Prewarhater you are a sore wrotten hater that does not like to see anyone gets ahead, I wonder if you know that I'm a brother with black skin! Hmmm probably that's why you trying to give me a hard time without being successful?
I don't care about your .02 if its not going into my PayPal account and as far as I've seen with you I would not want your money. Because not all money is good, I've seen you looking for a Bluegrass and I made sure that I don't make the mistake to offer my cue to you because you are bad business I don't need your money and I have rejected everyone that sent me your link looking for a Bluegrass.
Pls avoid me, I don't care for you. Neither am I stopping your daily bread!!!

What I love is when they've already flipped your cue and asking way more before you even receive the cue you traded....

I traded for one here a while back and before I even received the other cue, my cue was on sale here by another person(not the person I traded with) for way more than I was ever asking. So basically, it had been flipped twice before anyone even cared if I was satisfied with the trade. The trade was fine so it worked out but it is amazing.

I buy them here and try them. If I don't play better with the cue than the one I'm currently playing, I pass them on. I don't believe I've ever made any money on a deal. I'm just willing to lose some money to get to try a cue. I don't understand how these flippers are making enough to keep it going. They must be throwing out some ridiculous lowball offers.

Joe

Matt Webbs still doesnt have a website. But he doesnt spam the thread box and he still obviously does good business because he still offers discounts, i.e. the memorial day one.

I would not single out Seaglass, and I don't like to mention names on here unless it's someone that has pulled some moves.
There are however a couple of guys more noticeable than Seaglass, and nobody ever mentions them.
Maybe if Seaglass was selling Jerry Rauenzahn cues nobody would care how many threads he started.
I'm friends with Jerry, but that guy pushing his cues is ridiculous at times.

add his buddy Erajcustom89 to the list too.

Idk about buddies, but at least he keeps everything bundled and clean. I don't mind that.
Seaglass and the other guy I mentioned earlier, make tons of threads full of crap.

From what I've seen Erajcustom89 actually posts decent prices.

Edit - What I meant by "crap," was stuff. The threads are full of "stuff." Apparently Mr. Seaglass got a little offended, and I apologize.

I'm sorry, Mr. Seaglass. I'm sorry you can't grow up.

When someone has a variety of cues for sale there is a method that works quite well
that actually keeps your thread active and in my experience sells the cues quickly.

Of course it helps to price your items competively and not believe people here on
AZB are going to pay premium prices for turd cues.

Here are some threads that did what I am outlining well:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=354388

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=364687

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=344765

and of course my favorite poster here on AZB that knows
what he is doing

Thread started 6-6-2013 and all eight items sold by 8-19-2013

how about

I don't read his threads.
Ever, never, never, never,
Nick :)

Wanted to add Pre War hero is no dick. Worthy of your respect too.

Why is everyone howling at the moon? I don't get it ... especially all the cheap shots that are flying around.
Consolidated listings work well, but so do single listings (with closeups, different angles, etc). It depends on the cue and the situation.
As for hogging Page 1, cue-flipping, and all the other who-gives-a-ships, deal with it.
The rent's right on AZ. If you list for free, you can't expect to dictate policy.
There's always eBay.
