Searing taking offers

Rings look like searing to me, pin looks like earlier searing to me, no sig because it's a conversion we should all know that! The shaft is really blue and dirty because obviously this cue plays great! no wood sealer can do what chalk does I love when shafts get like this!

Leave this thread alone unless you have something productive to add....

Waooo at last somebody appreciated it,you know sometimes it takes a player to know this i play with a Jerry Franklyn and if you look at it you wouldn't offer me a dime for it but i just don't believe in cleaning it and i love the way it plays and believe me i can do some damage with it.Thank you for your comment.

Riddle me this Bob Man.. Who can get a cue like you described from Dennis? You? Dennis does not make many cues. You know this AND I know this along with a lot of other people. For that reason, his cues demand such high prices. That is what drives all cue prices up.

Supply vs. Demand

I'd love to see your Searing Bob... Post up some pics.

I posted mine... but that thread got derailed by Nick.

Besides, everybody knows you have plenty of money...

Hi Chris, i wish i had all the money you say i have. I do not. I had a 4point ebony 1/2 joint Searing that i got from Dennis and traded it back to Dennis brand new for a bigger cue to be made. Well i am still waiting on the bigger cue. As soon as i get it i will post pictures. According to Dennis it shouldn't be much longer. regards, Bob

Jerry????????

Contact Jerry Rauenzahn,
"He's repaired MANY BOtis and Bushkas over the years:wink:

Barry Szamboti on Szamboti's, Pete Tascarella on Balabushka's or you will lose it's value! I doubt Dennis would work on it, Kinda like Rolex won't repair a knockoff.

Its a Searing

Not that this answers every question relative to the sale of this cue, but Dennis has verified that he did indeed build that cue, sometime in the 1990s converted from a Schmelke house cue blank and thus, would be more than happy to work on it. I think he said he would knock out the refinish in "about 15 minutes" and that it would be "pretty cheap", but I might have misunderstood him on that part.

Anyway, like I said, not that it clears up all the questions on this stick sale, but Dennis Searing says its a Searing, so if the reason you guys have taken the OP red is that you think he's offering something other than a Searing, an apology might be in order.

Thanks

Kevin

Why not just ask Dennis?

I did.

It sure looked enough like a Searing to get me asking him, and contrary to my little joke about him having to reinvent and re-engineer and perfect entire communication systems, he was kind enough to respond super quick.

Its a Searing, those things, even the conversions like this one, are pretty darn rare and in demand, I can't think of a living cue maker with higher cache than Dennis right now.

Now that I've gotten you back to GREEN, can you send me a price?

Thanks,
Chris

Oh I agree on the value. And he does get busy, but his response worth waiting for IMO.
