Yeah Finally going to do it!! Finally have the time to dedicate to getting it going. Also having it an in-house league will make it that much easier to get started. 5 Person teams with a 5x4 round robin type format. Easy scoring system with NO keeping track of innings or safeties. But it will be handicapped.
Once we get this off the ground we anticipate having a traveling scratch version as well.
That's down the road a bit. Come on down and give it a shot. We will have quite a few good players.

I have been playing BCA for quite some time. Your skill and love for the game, Its your next move! This league is going to be a handicapped league, not that you need it. You will be a perfect fit. This is going to be our first season and I think you would be a great part of it. Anyway if I dont see you before I will see you next week in Vegas.

We are going to give this a GO. I know it will not happen overnight but scratch is next. We have a lot of great players up here. It just tough to get the word out. But we are on our way.

It is going to be a team thing. But when we get this going ALL the players will be eligible to play in the BCA Nationals. I currently and have played in the player/member since 2005 and not done well BUT I plan that time of year around that. Anyway we have chatted here a bit before we should hook up and play some. I know you live close. I am not great but I am not bad.

I'm really looking forward to this. I always enjoyed playing out of Big Shots before, and now that the tables are re-covered and the service issues are squared away, it should be even better. Their Olhausens don't seem to rattle as much as others do, which for me is a key factor. And their wings are great. The fact that it is close to home only makes it better. Can't wait to get started.

If they are in fact squared away, that'd be great. Other than the lack of competitive options, like tournaments & league, the customer service is the main reason I haven't been back in over a year or so. I would rather just make the drive over to Danny K's. But if things have really changed there at Big Shots, I just might become a "regular". We'll see...

Hi Abe,

Our first night will be Wednesday September 8th. This will probably more of a social gathering and free pool night, perhaps a tournament, Here we will discuss league fees and rules. In regards to fees I am leaning towards 10$ a week for a higher prize fund. We will have cash and prizes for other things like top shooter male and female and most improved. We have a couple of different options that we will present to the group. Our main goal is to get sanctioned by the BCA to benefit from all they have to offer. Aside from all all the great tournaments that they put on. They have a new on line leaguesys that will keep scores and stats easily available.
We are looking for team captains you sound like a great fit for that.

I can't speak from personal experience, but I have been told by a few people that there was a meeting with the staff where they were encouraged to inquire with the customers as to their needs on a more frequent basis. From the people that I've spoken to who have been there recently, the service sounds like it was better than the last few times I went there. Can't wait to find out for myself.

I can report that they ask how you're doing fairly often, and in the case of some staff a little TOO often. haha. Sometimes to the point where they distract you from shots.

I find that the shots at the bar will frequently distract me from shots on the table. But I'll take that over sitting there for an hour or longer waiting for the waitress that has your tab to come around and ask you if you would like another drink, which was not an uncommon occurrence before.

It was the playing conditions that caused me to go 2-out.
That damn table was so pristine I had to wear a glove to keep from getting it dirty!

I just heard that the service at bigshots is much better I plan on checking it out and def, playing in the league.
