Shaft Side Caps for Will's Tim Scruggs Ivory Handled Cue..

I was kinda hesitant to put the Square Ivory Ring on the Shaft Caps.
They would be too close to the Shaft Collar's Ivory Rings..
Although they look plain by themselves, They were made to be seen on the Cue...
Or in this case, Tim's Shafts...(Will's Shafts....:sorry:)

Will, I hope you like them..
I know you haven't seen them..
I know it will be a surprise....But, which way??:embarrassed2:

The Set

Photo of Will's Cap Set...
The Oval Ivory Body suppose to be the Ivory Oval in the Cue's Butt Sleeve..
The Ebony Bars suppose to be the curve Ebony Inlay in the Butt Sleeve.
The Crown top suppose to look like the alternating Black and White Squares as in the Cue's Joint Ring.
I couldn't do the Gold Diamond for the Main Feature Inlay..mmmmmm:angry:
No Talent..No guts...:frown:

Man that is an awesome set of caps Alton... Congrats Will!!!

I think I need Alton to make me a set for my new Scruggs!

Not only is this set of caps the nicest you have made so far, i believe they are among the nicest cap sets ever made for a cue. As you know, this is an ivory handled Scruggs cue, and this set of caps will look unbelievable adorning the cue.

Now that you have entered the 3-dimensional cap set work environment, the sky is the limit!

I really look forward to receiving these (and many more), and thank you for your world class craftsmanship.

Will had his cue at Valley Forge SBE. I took this photo there..

Yes, Will did give me the oppertunity to start making these 3d type caps.
Can't wait to show you Tikkler's Scott Gracio Cap..The Ebony and Ivory one..

Alton, great job as usual. I saw this work in person. Photos don't do justice to the quality craftsmanship here.

Help me introduce him around to all the woderful AZ members when he's up there..(We're down here in Hawaii.. remember, Waikiki Beach, Paradice, Hawaiian Brian's, Land of Aloha..etc..)
Kurt plays some mean pool..
