I'm not sure if clothes were involved but earl beat shane on a gaffed up 5 X 10 after Shane ate earl's lunch previously on a 9 Ft. diamond that i am pretty sure was a legit playing table. I also believe there was a stip that the loser of the 10 foot table match would get the option to play a rematch on a 4 1/2 X 9. Those who are far more in the know then me would probably be able to give you an update on where and when the trilogy will be played out.![]()
Shane is a great player. No doubt about it and has to be considered the best player in the US right now.
However, people need to stop making excuses for Shane losing to Earl. He got beat fair and square. They were playing on the same table. Both players got time to play on it for several days leading up to the event and played for 3 days up to 100. Earl was the better player for those 3 days and a 10 foot table is very difficult to play on- Earl seemed to be the better player on a tough table.
