Shane IS the best US player

I'm not sure if clothes were involved but earl beat shane on a gaffed up 5 X 10 after Shane ate earl's lunch previously on a 9 Ft. diamond that i am pretty sure was a legit playing table. I also believe there was a stip that the loser of the 10 foot table match would get the option to play a rematch on a 4 1/2 X 9. Those who are far more in the know then me would probably be able to give you an update on where and when the trilogy will be played out.

Shane is a great player. No doubt about it and has to be considered the best player in the US right now.

However, people need to stop making excuses for Shane losing to Earl. He got beat fair and square. They were playing on the same table. Both players got time to play on it for several days leading up to the event and played for 3 days up to 100. Earl was the better player for those 3 days and a 10 foot table is very difficult to play on- Earl seemed to be the better player on a tough table.

If they play on a shimmed table ( where you seperate the men from the boys) Johnny will HEIST him. Not beat him, HEIST him.

I agree with you. Johnny's top gear was above where Shane is now. I remember when it was reported Parica offered the 8 to everybody "except for him" (pointing at Johnny). Archer was playing the worlds best 9 ball for quite some time.

I also agree. It's funny how quickly people forget just how good Archer was in his prime.

If your willing to bet on that if it ever happens I bet you have a chance to make a ton of money because I think your the only person in America that thinks anybody can heist Shane. No doubt Johnny is a great player but NOBODY is going to heist Shane.

Guessing you lost a few bucks on that deal... Earl made Shane look like an APA player....... The 9foot rematch is still in the works so until you are more in the know you should probably stifle it... The 10 footer was not a gaff it was a beast... Only one of them got close to taming it....

Wrong. Didn't lose a dollar. Once i got the line on the table i figured SVB would have to get out of a car lot sized trap to get there. And as far as the 10 ball rematch on the 9 Ft. goes "still in the works" didn't quite work out as i believe the game has been changed to 9 Ball where earl actually has a chance. Proof that earl isn't dumb, just that even he knows he can't beat SVB playing a long set of 10 ball on the 9 Ftr. And if they ever truly rematch (Race to 100 10 ball on the 9 Ft.) you got earl doesn't 70 for...hold on i gotta open the window more. And if they play mum pool he won't 60. Now i'll stifle it...for now.

1. He is bar none the best 10 ball player.
2. He is most likely the best 9 ball player.
3. There is no one else to even talk about in 8 ball.
4. He is the favorite to win any bar table event.
5. He won the DCC One Pocket and has placed in top 20 more than once.
6. He doesn't play straight pool, but I don't believe anyone under Mika, Harriman, or Schmidt want to try him any.

Shane is the best US player overall but what about on a tight ten footer? Earl would probably play him some straight pool on the ten foot table.

the only thing shane does better than johnny iin 10 ball is breaking.he shoots just as good as shane.shane only likes to play on diamond tables johnny likes gold crowns.let shane play johnny 9 ball see how he likes it.

Not true, there's a Gold Crown3 at the Dakota Cue Club in Sioux Falls, SD that Shane would for sure play Johnny on, and it has 4 1/4" pockets, with Artemis Cushions, and Simonis 860HR cloth on it...just waiting.

For the record, Shane already beat Earl on a 9fter, right after he beat Cory Duel in a race to 100, he beat Earl like 100 to 63 playing 10ball on a Diamond 9ft'er. Yes, Earl did win on a gaffe, pourly converted snooker table, but wining by 18 games isn't exactly the same thing as being beat by 37 games on a 9ft in a race to 100 is it? Over all, Shane has more wins over Earl than Earl has on Shane. Now, for TAR22...that's the 3rd time they're going to play...so, I think YOU need to be up to date before you talk so highly about how Earl has beat Shane...don't you think?

OTOH, SVB smoked Mika on Mika's home table, a GC III, a table he plays on probably 100 days a year. Don't think Shane's anti-Brunswick. Don't even have a horse in this race, just sayin'.
