2007 PLAYER OF THE YEAR - SHANE VAN BOENING!

Jay is now Captain Obvious. His powers of deduction are incredible, I'll bet he could figure out who killed Ron Goldman and O.J.'s ex-wife... put him on it.

ahhh, but could he figure out who is fronting the money for this new tour? That is the question.

Anyone who has not seen Shane play is in for a treat. I'm not that relaxed when I am asleep.

Durn right I got the ticket to see every ball and every game of the Mosconi Cup for the low low price of ten bucks. Leonard

I grew up in Rapid City, Shane is about 3 years older than me but we met in matches a few times. I have beat him a couple of games :D

I'd rather be Captain Obvious than Captain Obnoxious!

I doubt most of these guys doing the checking would want to because then they might have to admit the possibility that it is legit.

The first set between Shane and Johnny is now available on the website, in case anybody is interested.

Awesome. Thanks I had forgotten about them releasing the first set.

Archer is going to be one crazy old man if he continues to increase in his ability to find lint and powder on every inch of the table. I find it more and more difficult to enjoy watching him play over the years, I think he has moved beyond lint removal into nervous tick space. Hopefully he does not get more obsessed with finding things to wipe and pick at on the table in the coming years. Otherwise he is one hell of a player:D :D

I was Shane's first opponent in the SD State Tournament, when he was six. I knew that I could not give him an open table, as he was very capable at running out. He was scolded a bit afterwards for not playing a safety in one game.

Three years later ( I believe) he defeated the defending champ and runner up in the lowest class.

Congratulations on a terrific year, Shane!!
