Shane Vs. Efren - Ten Ball

This match is on! After a series of phone calls we got it together. They will be playing on Thursday (the 24th) at Stix Billiards in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Yes I know that is only two days away. But if you are in the Los Angeles area you may want to see this one. It's a Race To 30 for Ten G's, 5K by each player. Shane (and his uncle) said they will also cover ALL side bets!

Just a little prelude to the Morra-Oscar match for your viewing enjoyment. Start time on the Shane-Efren match is scheduled for 7PM. They plan to play it all that night to conclusion. Probably a good 3-4 hours of pool. Maybe more.

WOW...a great match in deed!! I just wonder if Efren can overcome Shane's break???

Good match. I think Shane's break makes him a little the favorite. Would not mind if Efren won though.
 
Wow. Efren's got the heart of a lion. Maybe the biggest factor as to why he is still around and others from his generation have faded away.
 
If anyone wants to bet on Efren even I will take bets and you are guaranteed to get paid if you win the minute it is over.
 
I'm not making any more calls. This is one you will probably have to be here to see. If the Tar guys are in town, maybe we can arrange something. This all came about suddenly. We (Alex and I) put the match together today. This one is a pure and simple gambling match.

We are all so spoiled from all these streams, when we hear of match that may not be streamed, we are suddenly disappointed. How lame is that?

Oh well, I'm sure it will be a good match. Would love to be there in person actually. Can anyone remember the times when live streams were a far fetched wish and accu-stats or ESPN was the closest thing we could get to watching a live pro without being there to watch it live?

I'm sure this will be revenge for Efren for Shane beating him at DCC.

But, man this sucks big time.

I had plans to watch OD and JM at HTs' all three days.

My wife and I were planning a trip to go visit our daughter at school in MO and watch some of her volleyball matches.

This weekend was the only time that worked for both of our schedules.

So, not only am I missing theTAR match, I now have to miss the SVB and ER match...... :(

Oh well, such is life. I'll get to see my kid soon!!! :smile:

I'll take SVB and give a few if anyone is interested.

I have a feeling that most will want SVB in this one so that may kill some action.

Houston, we have a problem! Now I have been informed that Efren no longer wants to play and that Bustie will sub for him. I'm waiting for word from Shane that he still wants to play. More funny stuff I know. I don't like it either. I'll keep you posted.

Efren dun't have a prayer with his Deliberto break.
Busta's a much better match.
