Backer problems! Efren just won the 1hole event in Galveston I know hes got five grand on him, So it must be Shane. And i know he can get that much together, it aint a HUGE chunk of change. Please dont tell me that these guys wont play with their own cash.

Shane has deep pockets (and will bet his own). That much I know. Efren may be a little more careful with his money these days and not quite so willing to throw it into the mix. This part I don't know, I'm guessing.

P.S. Shane wanted to bet more.
 
Well no matter who plays, if it's Efren or Busta I'll be there since Stix is walking distance from my house.

I dont blame him:) Bustys break kinda evens things out.

and as far backer problems go, I guess after the pinoy split efren didnt walk away from Galveston with that much cash. Either that or travel and food really ate him up.( I know it did fo rme)

Jay has lots off money. Its all barried under the see. And Jay wont tell me were it is.

It all looked and sounded good, Shane vs. Efren for 10K, Ten Ball, Race To Thirty. Then things started changing; No more Efren - He was being replaced by Bustie. Shades of the Frost-Efren "almost" match. I don't know what to make of it all. All I know is that I was dealing in good faith.

What I've learned - It's harder than ever to get pool players together and match up a game. Even when you think you have a match, things can go sideways.

Shane should just hop on a plane to Georgia and play Johnny some pool. The Philipinos are tough but if he is willing to play Efren then why not try Johnny. Is Johnny too good for Shane?

Jay..Have you heard of them trying to match up? I had heard Archer say that Shane can come to GA and get some action.

As far as I'm concerned that one's history and I don't feel like I was hard on anybody. My problem is that I expect people to be as good as their word. And that applies to me too. Bottom line - don't say something you don't mean and don't say something you won't follow through on. Passing the buck to someone else doesn't fly either.

Integrity and honor used to be the foundation of many men's character. Their word was their bond. A hand shake was all it took to make a deal, sometimes for substantial amounts of money. That quality seems to be eroding in present day society. I guess in this respect, I'm still a dinosaur.

This is true. Like I said on another thread, you won't see too many people rushing down to Georgia to play Johnny. And that includes foreigners too. :)

I think he is the best American Player.

Besides a strong game on the big track...he plays pretty sporty on the bar box as well.
