Dude, have you ever really seen Karen Korr in person? I HAVE, and let me tell you, you're definitely WRONG HERE!! I'm sure it's not just my opinion, but Karen is not very pretty, and when I saw her in person I played on a team with her in Rochester,NY...right after she came here, and she didn't play very well either. I was having a GREAT weekend for pool, running out from everywhere, but was very disappointed with her performance. I'm sure she improved since then, but it was scary back then. This was in 98? I may be wrong on my year...A bump to the head will do that to ya

There is nothing wrong with Shanella Loraine, she is drop dead beautiful. Is she a good pool player today? Who cares, least she is out there trying. Any woman that goes anywhere in the pool industry rock on my sisters do us proud.

So, I'm a creep because I don't find her attractive and gave MY OPINION?!?!? Then so be it. You really think this is why women pool players don't post here? Honestly? WOW, you're confused. ANYONE with sense knows that not everyone will be attracted to them, no matter how they look. Personally, looks mean little with me, I'm an attitude guy anymore cuz I've seen the prettiest girls turn UGLY as soon as they open their mouths. I WILL SAY that Karen was friendly, when she actually talked to you, but she seemed to be more concentrated on other factors than being a "people person" that weekend. That instantly turned me off cuz being a "people person" for a pro is important. They don't get paid without people going to see them play and paying to do so. On the other hand, Jeanette Lee, Mike Massey, Ming, and a handful of others were absolute delights to be around so they earned themselves a new fan that weekend! Again, just my OPINION which I'm entitled to share

Dude your way off on this. First time I saw Karen was in charlotte at Mothers, Allison beat Tony Watson in semifinals then Karen beats Allison like 9 or 11 to ZERO I wouldn't call that not playing very well. Anybody know the year 96,97,98? Anyway Karen may be quiet but why not enjoy her play. Just because she didn't satisfy your expectation for conversation doesn't mean she's not a good person. Please post a pic so we can critique your looks. Just kidding

I think Karen is a beautiful woman. You say it's not just your opinion that she's not pretty, but I've never heard anyone have a nasty thing to say about her, and your post was immature and nasty. Sure, she could dress in low cut blouses and cake some make-up on, but she doesn't care to. Besides that, you met her a decade ago? Ten years ago I looked like a boy, complete with short wavy bob haircut, flannel shirts, and baggy jeans. Times change, and so do people.
I met Karen at last years DCC, and she was so soft spoken and nice at breakfast, she made me feel like she was starstruck by me. But thatss how she is with everyone, you couldn't pay me any amount of $ to say a bad thing about her, she's easily the nicest pro pool player I've ever met.

(sighs) Mr Wilson, with all due respect sir, you have NO idea who I have or have not met. I wish I'd have had a camera back then for pics to prove I had met her AND played on a team with her, Jeanette Lee ( you gonna tell me I didn't beat her in pool 3-0 also?), Mike Massey, Ming NG, AND Helena Thornfeldt. Hell, we took Ming and Helena from the hotel to the tourney one day cuz they missed the "bus", so I got their autographs on a case I still have. YES, we stayed in the same hotel ( the Sheraton) as they did, we even saw a bunch of the women pro's in the bar one night having drinks and had a loong conversation with them. That I KNOW OF, I only had 2 people that I knew personally witness my playing Jeanette besides herself. 1 was the canadian champion at the time (Claude we called him, but he died from something, I'm not sure what though), and the other guy Fred B., who is local to me, is a car salesman and I never see him due to his selling outta state alot.

and what I said is not "so negative"...I merely stated that I personally don't find her attractive for a couple reasons, and I get jumped on by another member publicly, bad-repped for "calling her ugly" (which is why I gave it back cuz she misconstrued what I said), and now dis-believed by even you.
