Shanelle Loraine Pool Commericial & Pic

Wow, she plays a whopping 5-6 hours in the SAME week to prepare for a tournament! That is dedication!

Look, I have nothing against her, and I think she is good for the image of pool, but she is no champion. I do not agree with the commercial that clearly identifies her as a billiard champion. Don't you actually have to win something to be called a champion?

I hope nothing but the best for her and her career, but she is a pool spokesmodel. Has she EVER even finished in the money at a pro event?


We all know that it is a fact of life that she will get attention because of her looks. I just think it is disrespectful to the other players who actually earned their place. This kind of thing always happens. A better looking player is more marketable and image is huge. They will get more and better opportunities. That is fine, just don't call her a champion.

Jeanette Lee got a lot of attention because of her image when she was coming up, and she got many opportunities because of her appearance. I know there were some who prob had resented this. The main dfference is that Jeanette IS a champion. She CAN play and WIN! She has earned many titles not based on her looks.

I have no prob with Shanelle. She's gorgeous. Like others, I dislike the "champion" label when she didn't earn it. It's not fair to the other girls who can spot her the last 3 and they're not even champions themselves.

She gets work for her hot looks, not for her playing prowess - it is what it is.

I'm not knocking her. After all, I get parts in porn movies because of the size of my ICBM - not because of my acting.
 
She's a champion. She placed third in Mixed Doubles with Lee Van, and she (and Lee Van) even beat the team of Mika & Borana Andoni. :grin-square:

1. It was a doubles tourney. A strong partner can carry anyone deep into it.

2. They took 3rd... Third place is far from champion. Around here third is a two time loser.

If she's all real she's spectacular

The video I saw she missed the hit 2x in a row (with coaching) and then miscued the 3rd really bad. After that, I closed the video. Maybe she averaged a 2.5 after that, I dunno.
