Just got off the phone with Mike Medley at Michaels Billiards. Said that Shannon and Chris are going to be playing either tonight, or tomorrow night. Some sort of a 5k or 10k set. I'll keep everyone posted.
 
Shannon's playing tough. I always like Chris when he's in action. I like his pace. It seems to me he's gonna make less mistakes.

Although this match-up may well be true, you should be advised that Mike Medley has said this same thing a couple of times before when there was no match actually put together. The week end before the DCC he was telling everyone to show up for the match but neither Chris nor Shannon knew anything about it. Mike likes to get people into the room with rumors. Chris has always called me to let me know when he was going to be playing in the area.

the way it sounds its gonna go down saturday night in cincy! they are gonna play 9 ball 10 or 12 ahead for 5k he thought! chris said he was gonna let me know if anything changed!
 
Gonna bump this to acknowledge that me and yobagua have a small sweat bet on this. Can people in Cincy please give us an update when this goes down? thanks

Tonight (Sunday) at around 6pm @ Michaels. 12 ahead, even, for 5k. That came straight from the horses mouth....

They were even at 11 pm.
As of 12:12 AM Chris is 5 games up

i need Chris to win, so he can come lose it to me ;) he offered me a spot I cant refuse, i wont say what it is but we made a game and he offered to fly to Vegas to play, it dosent get any better than that, its gonna happen this spring, i'm leaving for germany for tests on my backache etc. around feb 10 for a month. When I get back were gonna play soon as I get in stroke, he said call him when i'm ready because he understands my back problems. We agreed to adjust if its too one sided, I'm gonna ask him if its cool to video it, i'd like to have a fair game with him 3-4 times a year.

please post who wins, i'm on Chris B's team.....for now.:) his brother Barry is a good guy too, I like him.

Fatboy - What is the game that Chris offered you?

I don't see how Shannon ever beat Chris. I might be eating my words if Chris loses this current set, but I just don't see it. I see it as a hijacking.
