I'd be willing to throw something in as well, not that Dennis needs it. He has a couple of wealthy backers already.

They're ready, willing and able to put 100K or more on him against anyone, including the little guy. Alex will be the one having a problem getting a backer for that amount.

Now yes, because hes finally ready and he prob got the 10 ball breaks figured out.
Didnt hear if dennis wanted none of that when Shane was giving a big spot in his race to 100 worldwide challenge years ago plus expenses paid for.
Now Shane and Alex is at a decline stage and i doubt if they wanna play someone who just "peaked".

N dont forget chinese 8 ball n snooker, i doubt any on the list wld like their chances against shaw even w a big spot on those monster tight pockets.

They quoted his derby finishes, I responded. And no ****in body in the U.S. plays Chinese 8 ball. That's a ferry game. Here we play One pocket, banks, rotation, 8 ball, and some snooker, 3 cushion. He chose to live here, we don't live over there. So before proclaiming him the great one, he needs to learn our games much better. He's not even top 10 in the U.S. Playing all around. If you think he is, I offered you free money, get him in the starting gate

And yes I recall he turned down playing Bergman this summer for 25k or more, saying he had to play the eurotour, which indeed pays nothing. If your job is to play pool, it would make sense to have less expenses with the chance to make more, that's what a job is.
But most pool players think it's a popularity or be cool contest and want to travel and be praised, I know entirely how this works, have had one live with me before and have another now. They definitely don't think correctly.

Dennis is the man

Anyone who watched Dennis Orcollo destroy Scott Frost has to think no one alive can beat Dennis in an all around playing all games. I been around great players for 60 years, NEVER seen pool played better than Dennis is playing now.
 
If those three battled it out long sets of ten ball for big money I think shane would come out on top in the end.
 
10-ball - tie between dennis and shane, but i'd pick shane for his break
9-ball - dennis
long race - dennis
10-footer winner's break - shane
