So being a pool player is an excuse for such behavior?

How would you feel if some guy grabbed your dick (assuming your're hetero)? What if he did it multiple times?

Again, it is a cultural thing. I always wondered why the Scots wear skirts. Now I know.

I'm not a fan of drinking and playing pool There's only a few players who can drink and shoot pool. I know one very well. :grin-square:

Tony Drago is another who can shoot pool and drink. Sandor Tot is another one.

These young Brits are still small fries. They're sowing their oats. Jayson will rise past this and move on. Hopefully, he will grow up and learn from his mistakes. We've all made mistakes in life and done things we were ashamed of. The difference is pro pool players have a magnifying glass on them known as AzBilliards judging every move they made.

cultural, indeed.

This is why they need a sub in the Mosconi cup.
If one of the players gets drunk or gets in a fight then at least the tournament can continue without a forfeit.
Also if a player gets sick, food poisoning etc

I don't really know that much other than he got drunk and made an a$$ of himself. Where I grew up you would get a fist sandwich for that kind of behavior.

While i don't disagree with the fist sandwich, who wants to be barred from DCC for life

Getting drunk or fighting during the 3-4 days of mosconi should definitely be a forfeit if they miss the match due to it. Imean if you can't stay 4 days without getting hammered or getting in a fight then you shouldn't be chosen to rep the team in the first place. Different thing for valid sickness.

Did something similar happen to Hatch after Mosconi cup few years back?

Hatch and Boyes. It wouldn't have ended well for Karl. Luckily someone pulled him aside and wised him up. Karl was a bit intoxicated at the time as well.

I don't know, but it sure is an awfully big coincidence that these alarm issues always tend to happen after a hard night of drinking.

It seems pretty silly to be getting wasted the night before you have an AM match. Maybe he just did not care, and figured that he could roll over anyone no matter what condition he was in.

Wait he's banned from DCC indefinitely???

I think that was just a rumor.

Others have said he had too much to drink and woke up late missing his match.

That was a rumor, but turned out not to be true. He was put on the clock and when he did not show, he was forfeited. Second loss so out of the nine ball.

He came over and watched the straight pool finals. No banning.
