Wanna Sell Your Hercek?

Well two and half years ago I took delivery of my first "Szamboti" cue (thanks to Howardthedick). At the time I was only collecting Herceks and looked at the Szamboti as a quick profit. So I made a deal with "Badabing" (David P.) and he ended up with the cue. If any of you know David, you know when he gets a cue he usually NEVER sells it! lol!. Not long after that day, I realized I love everything about Szamboti cues- traditional designs, playability, and history. I have been sick ever since. I tried real hard to get this cue back, offering everything but the kitchen sink. lol! ...David always said I would get first refusal if he was going to sell it. Well that day came last week. Thanks to "Fourkingscues" (Lil Kenny) the three of us had a deal brewing. David was upgrading his collection and Lil Kenny brought it all together. Thanks to these two friends, I was able to get one of my favorite Szamboti's built back. I couldn't be happier. This was one of those cues that we all regret selling at some time or another. It took me 5 years and alot of $ to figure out what I really like in cues. And now that I only collect Hercek's and Szamboti's, this cue is here to stay...for a long time!
Enjoy the pics.....

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Good things come to those who wait.Sounds and looks like you have something to truly be thankful for today.Congrats! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the lesson

I would never think of selling my Szam or Schick.. I once thought about selling the Schick, but am now convienced that some cues should just be passed down... A Szamboti will always be in my house next to the Schick and some others that are being turned really slowly.

Congrats on bringing her back home.

Troy,

I am happy that your cue came home. Little Kenny (Fourkingscues) is really good at getting cues to the right home. Congrats.
