Others I have:
McDermott D-2
JOSS Cocobolo J3300 Crystal Leisure
JOSS Cocobolo M-005 Omega Billiard Supply
JOSS 1970's (my right arm, the one above)
JOSS Jump Cue, 1992
Meucci Original 84-4
Viking, early to mid seventies
Viking Q-26
Viking, 1980 or 81, WICO points I think
Adam J/R-10
Audrick 2007, three of them (actually great cues)
Adam Steve Mizerak, Cue 109 in the Burton Spain Catalog
Early Brunswick ivory jointed four point
Cobra cues, four or five
Mizerak cues, (not Adam) three or four
Russ Espiritu, 1992 four point
Abe Rich Merry Widow
Sampaio Monaco

There are more, that's off the top of my head.

Why do I use the old JOSS? Because I have been shooting with it since 1985 and nothing else has been able to replace it for me. It just feels right.

you know there is VERY recent thread on the same subject
http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=264443
although it doesnt ask what else is in your collection and why dont you play with those cues

Yes, that is kind of what gave me the idea. I didn't think it would be cool to jump in his thread and ask what else people had.

I wanted to see what other choices people had in their collection and the reason's for playing with a specific cue.

Where is your player?

I didn't post my player because other than that I only have a Mezz (that I took on trade), a vintage Brunswick, and a vintage Palmer in my collection as of right now. I have been liquidating everything to bring more cash to the BSE.

Here is my PFD although I'm sure most have already seen it. And I think it's fairly obvious why I play with it.

Ya can't show them off too much. I posted my JOSS again. Heck....we love our cues....if people get tired of seeing them, they can go to a croquet forum! LOL! http://www.croquetworld.com/Events_byDate.asp?region=The+Forum&period=1+Year

This is a beautiful cue, no doubt. What is not so obvious is why are you selling it?

I will try to get to your PM tomorrow...

Honestly, it's for sale because Paul is making something specifically for me. It's a Davis blank, Purpleheart into Ebony. I received this cue in on trade so it doesn't feel like it it's "mine". I know that may be hard to understand for some.

Additionally, I tend to get bored with stuff so I need something new every once in a while to keep my interest. Lol :p

Main Squeeze

This is my main player. my other cue is a Black Boar. I have a big Showman, Mike Webb, and a Lee Peppers on order.

Here is one I have been playing with lately, I finished during December last year. It was converted from a turn of the century Butterfly Cue, all white is Ivory.

Once Again

I don't feel like I have what I would consider to be a collection; but just a few cues. What I'll do is state why I don't play with the others.

1. Meucci HOF-1
Actually was first wifes'. Meucci says it all; but too heavy and whippy.
2. TAD T-4
Too heavy--affectionately called 'The Beast'
3. Mike Webb
I like the cue, really the big drawback is the taper. I can take care of that with no problem. But I don't want to mess with it.
4. Schon SP-47
Wifes' Cue now. Butt heavy, Don't care for it even with bolt out.
5. TAD Fancy 8 point w/intricate butt sleeve. (see pics)

The shafts for the TADs are exceptional. I wouldn't think of using an LD shaft or anything of that nature. I do have a Predator 314 shaft (1991) for them but like the TADs much better.

This is it, my player:

Tad Butt Sleeve 2.jpg

My everyday player is the above fancy 8 point TAD..hands down!!!

That cue sucks. Ugly as sin, and I bet it hits like crap. You should get rid of it ASAP. I mean NOW. Don't wait...unload that God-forsaken P.O.S. People are laughing at you behind your back for having it. You don't need that kind of heartache. I know somebody that will gladly assume control of it...for your sake.

PM sent with my mailing address.

:D ;)

Martinez

I am currently playing with an Ernie Martinez he made in '98 or '99. Its the rosewood forearm with the floating alternating holly and tulipwood points. I am playing with it because its balanced so good that at 19.6oz it feels like a feather in my hands and moves the cue ball effortlessly. The Ernie has perfect feedback, and sounds so good when you hit it. Its the kind of cue that makes me want to play more pool, just so I can play with the cue. This cue has improved my 9-ball game, I can spin the ball so easily I'm shooting shots I used to be afraid of with confidence now. I'm very accurate shooting with the cue, and I almost never miscue with it. It has melamine ferrules with triangle tips at 12.7mm. The joint is flat faced phenolic with wood threads in the shaft and Ernie's 3/8 x 12 steel pin. Standard 58 inches. Up until recently I always played with my Joss but I'm retiring it. I have a monster wrapless Ernie Martinez on order and if it plays as good as my daily player Martinez, it will become my new player. I take every cue I own to the pool hall and hit balls with them occasionally I and let anyone who wants to try them hit with them too. Cues in the pic are :Balabushka, Tascarella (3), Gus, Barry, Urate, Martinez (3), Gilbert, Borque, Jensen, Porper, Joss (2). I have added about 8 cues to my collection since this picture was taken. I'll post a new pic of my updated collection one of these days... If I wasn't playing with a Martinez, I'd probably choose a Tascarella, Gilbert, or Gus.
