Show us your HOME ROOMS !!

Room is going to be really nice when you are done. I just picked up a single Brunswick chair from Ebay, wish they were selling at least a pair but it is a really nice chair. I will probably end up building 2 more just like it since Brunswick retails them at $900 each. We also found 4 more cloth spectator chairs and a table 2 days later on Craigslist that I couldn't pass up so we got those too but will end up selling some in the future. The Brunswick chairs are much nicer plus it matches my table, light, and double sided floor standing cue rack.

The first time I saw the prices on some of the billards furniture at the local retailer, I went into shock! Same prices online, if buying new, for the most part. I have found some nice deals on craigslist, though. Picked up two of the cloth covered spectator chairs as my initial purpose for $50 (both both). Excellent condition. Next I came across the two seater and bargained the gal down to $50. Neither of these were in Colorado Springs but my son, who was living in Denver at the time, was able to get the items for me and bring them down. Then I came across a leather spectator chair...not a Brunswick, but I think American Heritage? $74. Again, almost in brand new condition. Found two more cloth spectator chairs for $150...which was probably the least of the bargains. Thought I was about done at that point but then found somebody selling three Brunswick leather spectator chairs and I took them all for $200. Some corrosion on the brass foot rests, but nothing bad. Will probably take some brasso to that...but certainly could be left as is.

Hey guys a little off topic and yalls rooms look great but where did the GC's from Running Out Billiards go? I remember someone saying they went to a room in PA. For strictly nostalgic reasons I'd like to purchase one.

If i see tom thks weekend, i will ask.

My home bar and new to me gold crown

Love that you've retained the table number. Uber cool! :)

Thanks :)

I debated taking it off but am glad I left it there. I am planning on putting up some pictures of the color of money and the hustler in the room. Should fit in well.

man. what an awesome thread. I got a nice bit of cash saved up on top of my savings that I think i want to use to create an awesome billiards room getaway.

Here is my new addition to the basement. I just finished setting up the 1960's AMF Grand Prix 9' table I bought back in June. I found it on Craigslist, and after doing some research on AZ about the quality of the table, decided to go for it. Got a great deal on the table, light, cue rack and all other accessories.

It's a really sturdy commercial grade table with a bed similar to,a gold crown. Really cool leveling systems between the top of the legs and the bed frame. The original Manhattan Raybestos cushions were in great shape which was nice.

I decided to set the table up myself after a lot of reading in the "talk to a mechanic" section. A ton of great info over there, especially RKC's guide to leveling 3 piece slate which was a big help. I went with Simonis 860 Tour Blue and was pretty pleased with the results for my first time covering a table. Also updated the colors on the base and aprons.

And the original sign from the university of Pittsburgh Rec Center where I spent most of my free time in college, the table rates weren't too bad back then...

Thanks Ken & Dead Money. I really enjoyed the process of getting the table set up, and now it's great to have my own place to play.

I had been away from the game for the last two years, but it's been great getting back into it!

My new room

This past Saturday, John Burns setup my table that he had in storage for me since I moved. The room is still a blank slate, compared to what I had. But he important thing is the table is setup now. I will post updates as I complete the room up.

Here is Yueng, being the first to break in the table.

Some teaser progress pics

Started with this three shade light I got for free essentially and using it as the base structure for my steampunk light to compliment my newly finished Brunswick table.

I hope to finish it up within the week, then hang and wire it up.
