Fire Station Pool Table

So it's not in my home, but it is in my house. I was excited when I walked into the dayroom of the fire station for the first time after being hired. Can't beat it; free pool 24 hours a day just 3 blocks from my home. One of the older firefighters told me it was donated by the Schweigert family, of Schweigert Meats.

Hi Tony! Glad you were able to get your table set up again in your new home. I'm guessing the killer bar in your old pool room will have to be relocated. Good luck in your new place of residence. Hope to come see you the next time I'm in PA!

This past Saturday, John Burns setup my table that he had in storage for me since I moved. The room is still a blank slate, compared to what I had. But he important thing is the table is setup now. I will post updates as I complete the room up.

Here is Yueng, being the first to break in the table.

4 x 8 Gold Crown. Championship cloth. Table came out of the St Louis pool room that Louie played in.

I need walls, a ceiling, flooring, chairs and lots of other items but I don't know how to do it myself and spend all my money on feeding the dog.

Thanks Scott. The bar is with the new owners of my former house in Maryland. There will be no version 2 in the new house, my blood sugar can't handle it. :(

I used to live in Manitou Spgs,Colorado and a friend would take his huge female Ridgeback camping with us. I was fly fishing one day in the middle of nowhere on the other side of Mt White and his dog was hanging with me in the stream and playing with fish i was catching.Well I caught a huge 12" brookie and that dog got it and swallowed it whole.... I had to keep a close eye with my catch after that...lol

framing walls is not that difficult. If your ceiling is bare joists, that too, it not difficult for hanging drywall. I have no experience doing things like that, had a guy help me for a couple of days framing walls. He bailed on me so the wife and I put up the last wall complete with 2 doors we framed up ourselves. They open, they don't rub so I'm satisfied. I also framed in the 1/2 bath alone again with no formal training.

Someone HAS to photoshop a pool cue into this dog's paws. The photo begs for it!

Started with this three shade light I got for free essentially and using it as the base structure for my steampunk light to compliment my newly finished Brunswick table.

I hope to finish it up within the week, then hang and wire it up.

Finished it up on Wednesday... Only thing left is the Edison bulbs. Using florescents temporarily.

Not complete but getting there.

I just moved to Lafayette, Indiana....The house I bought is equally divided upstairs and downstairs. The Mancave is about 2000 square feet. I hope this is the right thread.

Be gentle it is work in process.

Best of rolls to all,

Ken
