Sounds like a pretty close match. Thanks for the score breakdown.
Actually the eightball was 8-5 hohman and the one hole was 3-1 shuff.
Both of them won the events that they were favored in, with tenball having the potential to be close.

Yes it does. I saw a 2 ball get fired into the pocket, go in clean without touching a rail, hit the back of the pocket and bounce back out onto the table. Unreal.

I can recall in 2005, he managed a pool rom and I was taking 4hr lunches from work...we'd play sets of 9b and 1p cheap regularly, even up and stayed about even. Today, I don't want the last 10, playing 9b for my money against him.
He does seem to continually improve, and as his comfort level in the pro tourney arena increases, I believe he will continue to see better and better finishes...
I regret missing this one. Any recording of it?
I like the format... Thorsten's an animal but some games Shuff has an edge,
and they made sure to include those games.
Brandon's been coming to our small weekly tournaments in NoVA and just robbing them.
But nobody minds because he's very personable and it's fun to watch him shoot.
He gave me some pointers and I'd say he's very much about the intangible stuff that can help your game...
better rhythm, how you do your practice swings, your mental game, how much you love competing, etc.
He's fond of saying stuff like "honestly I can help your game MORE with the stuff I talk about
away from the table, rather than the stuff I point out at the table."
He is confident and has a lot of pride. He'll say "I'm a great player and I know I can beat him as long
as I play my game"... or "I have so much knowledge trapped up here [in my head] that I could talk just
about the break for days." But he doesn't say this stuff in a way that would rub people wrong,
you don't think "wtf this kid is way too cocky".
He remembers you after a meeting or two and greets you warmly even if you're just a banger.
He likes to set up and try stroke shots and then encourage other people to try them out.
And if someone struggles to even come close he'll give them pointers.
He's a good teacher and I think he someday hopes to master shuffett's CTE/Pro1 system and
be able to teach it.
