Don't let that jerk worry you. There have been many good comments about your cues on this forum - a few from me! I bought a cue from you at the 06 DCC, been playing with it daily ever since.
 
Nothing to worry about Bob, its not the first time whatshisname has thrown a fit over something so small. Won't be the last. He's fine to deal with if everything goes just perfectly, but if not he can be a bit of a baby.

I have two cues in my bag when I go out. One is an X-Breaker and the other is my playing cue. It's a 2001 Shurtz that I wouldn't trade for anything.:)
 
I saw your cues for the first time at DCC and I liked them very much. I esp liked the brighter veneer colors that were used on some cues.

I love my Shurtz cue:) I also enjoyed watching Bob shoot in the 1 pocket tournament at Shooters the other day. Keep up the good work and will see you at Valley Forge in a couple of weeks.

I'm the guy at AZ with the unwrapped Shurtz that you had
mailed the shaft to the year before.
You know how I feel about your cues. A+
 
I saw Bob's cues in Valley forge.. also spent quite a bit of time shooting the bull with him... great guy to talk to.. and makes a hell of a cue for the price..

Bob Owen makes one of the best hitting cues I've ever tried. And that OP's post was irresponsible and immature.

Hi Bob

Since you are now responsible for the poor service of FexEd, UPS, USPS, and how about throwing in IPS I have a complaint. I am waiting for a package that was promised to be delivered last week but the 2 foot snow storm, and tornado in Florida delayed the .....

LOL!!! And Bob, while you're at it, my purchasing people failed to put in an order of an item I needed by last Friday. And the order didn't get out. I need you to come up here to Massachusetts and kick their ass.

Well Bob, here a tid bit for ya. Remember the cue that you gave me a super deal on at the US Open. I removed a pole in my basement for my table, then I called the engineer. He told me I had about $10,000 worth of work to do to make it OK. I gave that cue to my welder friend. I had two certified welders and one helper in my basement for 10 hours. When he was done, I asked him what I owed him. Guess what, he said I didn't owe him anything. They welded three beams in my basement and I have a notorized document saying everything is A OK. So I am here to tell you, that cue got me $10,000 worth of work for $000. I did tell the guy what I paid for the cue and why! He was delighted. And yes, I gave him the extra shaft. So you can add another $125 to the deal.
