So I glanced at the US Open player list.......

They are drafting their 1st press release, it's the cool thing to do right now, makes you actually seem like you have a clue.

That is really sad that not one pro living here in the US will play in it. Johnnyt

Us open list ..

Where is the link to the list of players.

I admire OMGWTF - she as more heart than most!

I would bet that Jennifer Barreta will be playing, she played good in last years open,as she is the first women to win a mezz tournament or one of those on the east coast, there was some real good men players in that tournament too,so gl to Jen if she plays!

I am not certain about this; I know it was the case last year, but I believe the women's world 10 ball championship is scheduled in Manila the same time as the U.S. Open here, so chances are no top tier women that we hope for will participate in the U.S. Open.

Not this year. The Women's World 10 Ball is Nov. 1-6 this year. Any of the ladies would have over a week to get there.

I also think that this is correct. Kelly Fisher was just here and she is due back in Manila in a few weeks for the World 10 Ball.

I'm kinda sad about this. After the Open was "opened" to all last year, I was hoping to see more of the top ladies mixing it up with the guys this year.

I got to see Jennifer play one match on the TV table last year and she's a class act. One of the spectators shot some pictures with a flash and she was so nice the way she asked the spectator to not use a flash during a pool tournament.

She didn't win her match, but she played well and the fellow she was playing got most of the rolls and she didn't have many chances to get going in the match. If she plays this year I hope I get to see her play again.
