So I opened a pool hall

On a related note, in my dreams I have lent my cue and table to someone, and when I return later my cue is in pieces and my beloved Anniversay only has two pockets and one set of legs.

Feel free to analyze this, folks!!:wink: It seems soooo real as I dream this. Ain't that always the case!!!

I think the hardest part would be to find owners/sponsors for teams at the start of it all but if i had 10 million dollars i'm sure i could start 4-5 teams on my own to get things rolling. After all we're talking about pool players here, you could probably sign some of the top players in the world if you offered them $30k a year....lol

My idea is...

To start, teams send out 1 of their players, then flip a coin or lag, the winning team has the choice of game played (8-9-10-straight - 1Pocket - banks...). The winner of that match stays in and the losing team now has the choice of game and who they send out against the winner of the last set. So on and so forth till 1 team wins the number of games required to win the match.

Is it a good idea and would it work, i have no clue but it's a format that entertains me in my head...lol.

LOL, uh oh. You can tell her the weather here is typical Missouri weather, ungodly hot in summer, severely cold in the winter and every once in a while we get a taste of spring and fall. (like this year!)

Maniac...While I agree with you in principle, Fargo Billiards, one of, if not THE best poolroom in the USA, is doing quite nicely, even with the economy the way it. The best operations (and operators) will always succeed, because their customers will seek them out.
