So I understand finally what a CALCUDA is, but

Pseudo- tomatoes

Don't try to interject any common sense into this thread.

Now someone tell me why I like ketchup and tomato sauce but hate tomatoes??

Actually ketchup (or catsup) and tomato sauce are not made from tomatoes
but are made from potatoes. If you have ever eaten a fresh, raw tomato you have discovered that they taste nothing like ketchup or tomato sauce.
Also, if you have ever seen watery mashed potatoes, the consistency of ketchup or tomato sauce, you know how unappetizing it appears. Thus , along with vinegar and other ingredients to give ketchup and tomato sauce
it's flavor, a food coloring developed from the red skin of the tomato is added in order to make what is actually potato sauce ( Republicans spell it potatoe) a more palatable color. So it is not surprising that you have a dislike for tomatoes but enjoy ketchup and tomato sauce. Look on the list of ingredients.

I am always here to educate those with questions.

but your comments towards me are ok? hypocritically hilarious.

Can I take a stab at what fruit you would be?

what comments?

I really dont get it- I think you have made an error unless it goes waaaaaaaay back

And yes-Take that stab.

A Calcuda is a large predator fish related to the Barracuda. Originally discovered in fresh water habitats in California ( thus the prefix, "Cal,") it was introduced into Montana streams to try and eradicate a type of Carp (the primary staple of the Calcuda's diet) that was threatening to decimate the native salmon population during it's
annual migration from the Pacific Ocean to the headwaters of Montana streams to spawn. The Calcuda has been found in some streams and lakes in Arizona where the Montana Carp does not exist but instead the Calcuda attacks the Montana Carp's
closest relative , the AZcarpie. This is a popular pan fish in Arizona and it's population is now threatened. I know that the elimination of the Calcuda is important to the many AZCarpers on this forum.:rotflmao1:

How come?
I've been to numerous Calcuttas but i've never seen Mother Teresa.
Where can i buy a calcuda? My goldfish died.

Calcuttas

are not legal in any state that has laws against gambling. In Kansas, a contest of skill between 2 participating players is not considered gambling.

When 3rd parties bet on the outcome of the contest is when it is considered gambling, because the 3rd parties are non participating in the contest.

BTW, Calcuttas are run all the time in Kansas. My brother is an attorney, and I had him check with the District Attorney's office regarding this.

I suspect Montana has laws against gambling too, but that they are just not a**holes about it, like Arizona is.

It would appear that the Good 'ol Boys round KY and TN reclassed the activity as a player auction and that makes everyone happy. Especially the players. I am familiar with a guy who won a small tourney here. 5$ entry fee-player auction-20 players 1st place 239.00. Salute the calcuda.

Tomato sauce doesn't have tomatos? Where did you hear that? You must be thinking of sauce from a jar because real tomato sauce always has tomatos.

Guess I am confused. My apologies Mr. NoStroke, I thought you were taking a stab at me. I'll refrain from taking the stab on what fruit that what make you.

Just guessing,,,,, That you are from someplace that don't have tomato's, or you listened to Watchez, like I did. And are trying not to inject any kind of sense into this thread. Both items are definitely made from tomato's, not potato's. It is funny tho.

I would officially like to offer my proof-reading services to Cocobolo. I guarantee that anything you send me that you would like posted to the AZ forums I will read and edit so that it decreases your chances of looking retarded.

On second thought, just send me some money and don't bother posting anything on here ever again. Too much damage has been done.

Calcuda.... lol

Calcutta's were banned years ago in Arizona because of a bill that was proposed by the Liquor Board.

The rule is that ANY game of CHANCE would be banned. The game of billiards itself is not a game of CHANCE at it requires SKILL to play, but the Calcutta itself requires no SKILL (And no choosing the best horse is not a skill defined by this law). Dice games have been banned as well. Poker is said to be a SKILL Game by these same lawmakers and therefore is allowed, although it falls into a Grey Area.

Thank you Jerry.
