I can't make a ball with this thing. What aiming system is recommended for these cues?

I would recommend, you go high up some mountain and use it like a javellin and see how far it goes:thumbup:

What they are trying to say is.....

Screw on tips are a joke, and are pieces of shite. It'd be like entering a car race with those little donuts you put on after a flat tire, but worse.

Go get a new ferrule/tip combo and play with something that won't let you down.

I'm curious if you were really serious about this or if its just a joke? The reason I ask...I would have thought anybody who has posted 4000 some posts on here would know that screw on tips ferrules arent worth anything, unless there is something new out I dont know about...

Screw on tips are one of the best kept "secrets" in the upper level of the pool world, won't even read about them in JoeyA's "secrets" thread.

I think the mods should delete this thread before there's a Wal Mart riot.

Aim to the PH with plenty of cash where Shane is playing. Get in a money game with him and sit back, relax and enjoy watching him. This will greatly improve your missing shots as your missing will be probably be limited to only one miss per game as the rest of the rest of the time you will be watching him at the table.

Is unscrewing the tip during a match considered conceding?

Nice post!!!

Screw on tip!....My first cue had a screw on tip and I played the hell out of that amazing piece of technology. Nothing like being able to change your own tip mid-game without any equipment at all and the hit was sadly consistent from tip to tip. They played best on ramin wood shafts. NICE!

I still think you don't have all the right equipment YET but you're close. One trip to kmart, walmart or sears and your set!

You need to screw off the tip and put on one of those incredible slide on tip ferrule replacement combos (cue tip condom like device for safer pool). Then you're all set! The sound and the feed back on them is to kill yourself for!

Aiming systems will be a thing of the past......... because you'll probably miscue a ton more and not want to even play!

These work great for me! They are made in 13,14,and 15mm sizes. If you lose a tip just go to the next size up, They slide on or you can thread them on....just don't forget the glue:p.

WOW, Best thread ever. Love the responses in this one. My boss actually came over to see why I was laughing so hard.

Two things that might help. One is it a left handed cue or right very important to know. Two did you get the cue with open sights or peep? On aim try to use right eye or the left. Hope I have helped.

I was once in a Wal Mart with a friend looking at the "pool cues" when a worker came over and asked if we needed any help. We asked her if Wal Mart carried any Szamboti cues, and she said "I think so, but let me go check." We almost fell on the ground laughing after she walked away.

You do not have sufficient equipment.
A knowledgeable vendor would have so advised.
Give him a red rep.
Ask others to do so.
Screw on tips are threaded either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
You need both, that is, two cues.
Hitting the wrong tip with the wrong spin will cause the tip unscrew.
Unscrewing will be an unsatisfactory experience for you, since we know from the title of your original post that you like to get screwed.
