That's cool! It's great that you have a son that can appreciate that cue as much as you and loves to play this great game as much as you do. I have three sons who play but are not as crazy about the game or cues as I am.
 
Having two brass joint cues myself, it always does my heart good to see another one made new. Great gift!

This cue is awesome. The gift/gesture is even more incredible.
This is a cue that SHOULD be passed down from generation to generation.

In fact, if I were you I'd hang on to this one and maybe leave it to him in your will. :thumbup:
